Got 2000y in the pool this morning. WOrkign from home today as there are building inspectors coming to my condo. Maybe I"ll have time to get in some riding on the trainer today.

If I can get out of work on time, I'm hoping to do a very short swim (having shoulder pain) and a dreadmill run since it's pouring outside. I'm also doing my shoulder PT stuff for the pain and also for this challenge! If the gym gets killed by work, I'll just do the PT.

I'm going to sneak away from work and get in a swim.  I got Swim Workouts in a Binder in the mail last week.  I'm excited to try out some different workouts.

Overachiever.

Well I hate to admit it, but not really.  Almost everyone bailed on the run.  Usually we go before the swim, but our coach had to rearrange the schedule so the run was after.  At that point I don't think anyone was really in the mood, myself included.  The couch seems awfully inviting right now

Morning, Toddies!

We were talking about favorite breakfasts: back when I didn't eat an upside-down day (I now eat dinner when I wake up and breakfast before I go to bed), my very favorite breakfast was Teddies Extra Crunchy PB with half a banana on multi-grain bread. High fat, low sat fat, high protein, low carbs, PERFECT start to the day. Eating this at 8 am I often had to force myself to eat around noon or 1 or it'd be 3:00 before I remembered (and by then I was REALLY hungry, and timing messed up dinner, etc.). Eating straight cereal or other carb-heavy b'fast and I'd be stomach-grumbling hungry by 10.

Gonna finally get to run in the snow tomorrow! If I can get home, that is. The roads were not plowed on my way here - ARGH! I know my car doesn't have much clearance, but on one of the major commuting routes in the area I should not be snowplowing with my undercarriage. So I'm looking forward to an awesome snowshoe run - haven't decided if I'm going to try for an actual snowshoe RUN and take the dirt road or if I'm go to go for a fast hike and do the trail run. Worried about my hip flexors since they are still a little tender from the weekend, but hopefully it'll be a great workout either way.

One workout that I love is 400/300/200/100. (rest interval is :40, :30, :20) You can add an extra 500 or 400 at the beginning if you want. But this one gets easier mentally but still - it's tough.

Mornin Toddies!!

How is everyone today? 

On tap for me today is grocery shoping, the girls are coming with me (pray for me ) cuz they want to pick out a new toy for the pup.  Today is his B-Day, he is 1.

Then clean the house (again pray for me ) then a core workout.  Then either tonight or tomorrow get a tree cuz by golly we ARE going to decorate this weekend.

Morning Toddies. I did my shoulder PT work laaaaaate last night before bed. I don't know why I'm having to force myself because it only takes 10-15 minutes and I have almost instant pain relief from it. Anyway, another session against my goal!

I'm hoping for a nice swim today and a trainer ride. My knee is killing me from my treadmill 5K yesterday. Now that's sad!

I am the same way! My stomach starts growling the minute I get out of the pool. I ran on the dreadmill last night after my swim and swore I might faint. I couldn't get home for food fast enough. I'm hoping it means we're burning tons and tons of calories!

AAaah those were the days....... HS swim team, swim for three hours then go home and eat tons and tons of good and junk food and I still looked like a stick.   Fast forward a "few" years and a couple kids later and I take one bite of anything bad for me and it goes straight to the thighs. Yell

No time for my swim today.   I really wanted to spend some quality time in the water.  Instead I have baked countless sugar cookies.  I suck at rolling out cookie dough.  I can't get it to an even thickness so the cookies burn on one end and are raw on the other.  Nice.  I finally gave up and went and bought already rolled out dough.  I know, I cheated!
