mchally - 2009-01-05 6:33 PM I just lost my spoon in a big jar of apple sauce.

Tilt your head back and pour it in. You'll find the spoon all right.

LMAO...might want to stand in the bath or something if you try that!

HA HA HA ... sorry, i'm just imagining it.

TriAya - 2009-01-05 7:02 PM My dog has been eating tissues lately. Now I have to hide every tissue-like thing or seal it off ... then again this is a dog that will eat soap, so why am I surprised?

Did I ever mention that my dog once ate/chewed a ring?  Yes, an 18carat gold ring with an marquise aquamarine... luckily I found the stone a few days later (couldn't imagine it if I would have had to dig through the poop after scooping)

I really want to buy myself a beautiful ring at some point...but this year is about the bike...

I cant wait for someone to get me one so one day I might get myself something pretty once Ive stopped buying bikes...could be a long wait!

eh... the pretty ring she ate was from my mother for my 16th b-day, though it was pretty...
Told my hubby that I wanted it rebuilt and turned into a 'mother's ring'... he did a good job on that for this Christmas... and lucky me, both my boys are born in April (birthstone = diamond

Be patient... I didn't get a pretty ring from anyone other than mom until I was 25... and my sister has given two back... so I suppose to some, they're not that pretty

Despite the fact that there was snow on the ground I managed to find a pair of flip flops today!  I have really been wanting a pair since I started visiting the Y.

$3-Biglots.   Dave will have fun with that one.  I hadn't been a biglots customer until the day Dave talked me in to stopping.  It is his favorite store (He probably wasn't including bike stores in that statement).  I was given a hard time about my (and many other Seattlites) being 'too stuck-up' to shop there.  He grew up in an area that had 4 local biglots.  There are maybe four in the entire greater seattle area...and they haven't been there all that long.

Well....I have probably been in (and made purchases) once a week since then.

kaqphin - 2009-01-05 7:36 PM Whats a biglot? Like a target? or Kmart or something?

I am not positive how it works, but I think that Biglots is a chain of stores that basically a store that receives the seconds, imperfects, overstocks and damages, as well as products that are being discontinued at various other stores.  Think 50% or more off Kmart and Target prices.  There is a lot of trashy stuff, but there are a bunch of great deals mixed in.  I got a bottle of laundry detergent that normally would run more than $10 for 3 bucks.  Don't go there for high quality stuff, but when you are short on money it is the place to go.

Ouch.  That is not fun.  My cat ate a necklace I really liked - it was a gold flower on a string.  I never found any of it.

alright-this isn't working.  I am not getting anywhere on my Botany papers-I am my best in the morning and early afternoon and I am just not able to focus at this point.

I am going to work on gut encouragement a bit more and start a list of info that I want to include in the affidavit for Dave.  All I have to do for that is recall the occurances on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.  I was in my talkative OCD state so it shouldn't be too hard to remember the conversation I had with the couple that did his moving out inspection.  I'll start with recalling the general feeling that was generated by the two and then recreate the walk through process.  It ended with an extended conversation in the kitchen about how they were super impressed that the carpet was already washed and that Dave's apartment looked so much better than all the other places they had inspected over the last couple of weeks.

Alright, I am saying goodbye for the night and shutting down my computer.

Toot-a-loo!
