Wow. I should adopt that one at work.... Because I seem to be doing a lot of exactly that....

You can tell when people want to pass their work off. My strategy is to avert my eyes and walk away as quickly as possible. Don't make eye contact. Appear to be frantically busy with something, anything, else. If all else fails, act a bit off your rocker. Crazy will keep them at bay.
