Agreed.  While I had a good HS experience, most of the people in my class that I was friends with, either wouldn't go anyway or I have stayed in contact with them over myspace or in person.  Most of my friends from that time were not in my grade or went to other schools.

I didn't do the 10 yr... probably won't do the 20.

believe me, i feel the same as you and when mine rolls around next year i won't even read the invite, but this is a HUGE deal to him and has been a source of contention for weeks.  i think he really wants me there, but i know once i'm there i'm going to be ignored all night.  do anyone's SOs go to these things?  if there are other boyfriends/girlfriends/spouses to make idle chatter with, i could manage, i think.

I didn't go to my wife's simply for the same reason you shared. I would've spent most of my time alone. So she went with her best friend she graduated with.
I have never been to any of my class reunions. "Boring"!!!

Exactly....I hate running into people from highschool that I never was really friends with and have to play catchup with them and act like I care about who they are dating and where they work......the only thing worse is having to sit there while your wife/husband does it.........this explains is better

*snerk*

That's what relationships are all about.  Being unhappy to make the other person happy.  Right?  Wait.

The Ms drug me to a dinner last night where we had to dress like cowboys.  I wasn't thrilled, but she looks hot in that sort of git-up, so that was some incentive.  Iended up winning an award for the best men's costume.  It wasn't hard... I think I was the only one.
