skrtrnr - 2009-10-28 4:13 PM its like herding cats

I'm having the same issues with my oldest. He always improves as the year goes, but when summer comes it's like hits a reset button. It's a very grr process, but at least he's still trying.

so THATS what happened to my oldest - they have reset button.  good to know.

i have to give him credit, he's trying.

my middle son was a bit of a 'surprise'

he seemed SO on top of things last year.

but then again, he just bumped up to 5th grade/middle school.

BOTH went through some big changes.

i have to admit, sometimes im less than patient.

i need to remember, theyre JUST getting a hang of things.

Am watching re-run of 2005 Kona.  Love that these get replayed on a regular basis.  Far better than the rest of the junk on tv.

What do you watch?????

GHOULIE QUESTION:

ARE YOU AN ORGANIZED OR AN ORGANIZATIONALLY CHALLENGED PERSON?

I definitely started life as a disorganized person, but I've made some pretty big strides. I'd still like to improve though.

Have to admit, I am pathologically organized. Plus, I have an assistant at work that makes me look relaxed.  Couldn't keep it all together otherwise.  Of course, those of you that are herding "wild things" put me to shame.

who wins in 2005, KIM?  i wasnt a triathlete back then.

the only show that i 'schedule' to sit down to watch is HOUSE.

i think that GREGORY HOUSE is one of the most fascinating characters ever written for TV.

and sometimes we watch BIG BANG THEORY.

WILD THING # 3 has ASPERGERS so we get ALL the jokes on that show.

wgraves7582 - 2009-10-28 1:17 PM Alright we have 4 takers already.

Are we going to be snobbish and not let outsiders in?

depends on the outsider, but im SNOBBISH, VERY VERY SNOBBISH.

that Pittsburgh Triathlon Club welcome wagon gig....a total ruse.

i think it would be UBER FUN to continue on as a group...with as many as would like to continue on.

if the elliptical vs ST 'challenge' is what makes that happen, im totally diggin' it.

let the games begin.

Sounds good!

I just opted in.  I expect we'll have more takers when some of our ghoulies get done with work... or whatever has kept them away from us today.

WE WANT TAKERS.

LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF

TAKERS!!!!!

come on GHOULIES YOU KNOW YOU WANNA!

GHOULIES LIVE ON FOR ANOTHER MONTH!

A friend of mine has swine flu!!!! She is sicker than a dog right now!!!!  Thank goodness we've only had contact through Facebook recently!  Poor girl.

A coworker of mine just got back from a suspected bout.  Her lab bench is directly across from me.  I'm hoping my super immune system is still up to snuff this year.

GHOULIE QUESTION:

ARE YOU AN ORGANIZED OR AN ORGANIZATIONALLY CHALLENGED PERSON?

I consider myself very organized.  Although if you were to look at my desk at work you might think otherwise.  But I don't loose stuff, I'm always on time, and I'm all about schedules and plans

The only show I watch routinely is the biggest loser.  Although I'm usually reading or on the internet  to occupy myself during the commercials and the 5-minute cry breaks.

X2!  It's easy being organized for one.  If I had some rugrats to contend with I might be singing a different tune.
