I stopped for lunch then put my head down for "just a minute" and went far far away. This is getting OLD!!

He is both and a fellow. So he is a MD/PhD and a Fellow of nephrology...which means he did 6 years of medical school (he went to school in Holland), 4 years PhD, 5 years residency and 2 years fellowship. 17 years of school.

His arguements:

He feels that in his clinical job he treats patients that are very sick with end stage renal disease, on dialysis, etc...and that although he likes to be a physician that the end story isn't particularly nice when you see people dying of horrible diseases everyday and that research and science give him a break from all that and the ability to feel like he is doing somethign new and exciting. I do feel it is a good rationale...and I like science...but 4 more years...? I'm not sure right at this moment.

He understands and is quite adamant about medical school being my first priority right now and that second year is busier than first year was. So he isn't pushing anything on me right at this second. Just that we will return to it eventually. Haha.  

I just had the most complicated patient history ever...I've got to type it up right away...or its just going to be crappy...haha

oh my goodness, the ghoulies were chatty today. 

Apparently they were. But it stopped abruptly for some reason.  

Guess whose hubby came home today???? Yep, that's right. Mine.  And he even went for a run with me after the kids were in bed. And I bought new shoes today. What a day. I must be dreaming.

My mom is doing excellent. My head still is not right. But then.... I am not sure it was ever "right".

I just want you all to know I'm finding it hard to believe it is September 16th already. Where did the summer go?

Nothing wrong with regrouping for a second round.

I feel the same way. It was so hot and dry here. I only was in the lake TWICE. We spent very little time on the porch. We usually have lots of days hanging out on the water then kicking back on the porch watching fire flies sipping adult beverages. Usually music food fun and friends.
I want a do over!
