This afternoon we are having 4 yards of small rock delivered. Then we will spend the weekend shoveling and wheelbarrowing the rock from the driveway end of the house to the far end.

Ah well, it will be good to have that area rocked before the winter rains come. Makes for a much simpler and cleaner winter for the dogs especially.

so ~ did you get it all done?!? and pics??? I had to do the side of my house where it was a mud pit...we can exchange photos! haha

Howdy Ghoulies. I got my long run in today, (yea) VERY VERY slow, but then I am under trained so I can't expect much. Tonight we are going to Over the Rainbow, Cross-dressing, Bingo with some friends. I didn't know this was on my bucket list, but it is going to be crossed off none the less.

Tomorrow early we are heading out to camp for the weekend. Hopefully it won't rain too much and we can mountain bike ride!

Good morning Ghoulies!

I'm working from home today. We got pounded by storms last night and it is just ugly out there: water, debris all over the road. I headed to work, but came home and sent my boss an email saying I was staying put.

glad it was the streets that were pounded ~ not you or your home!

and better to stay put in that type weather! how far are you from your office? and why dont you work remote more often!? I soooooooooooooo prefer workiing from my home! and I do get LOTS done...not distracted at least too easily! haha

I am 34.7 miles away from my office. I would love to work from home more often, but I do actually have to be at work sometimes. I have new equipment all the time that needs replaced, or stuff that needs fixed. I have 2 pieces of equipment that I will have to look at tomorrow because they aren't working right.

I think I get more done at home, too.

I am waiting for a phone conference. I am lying down until then..... I just registered for the Biltmore Estate Marathon in March since I can't do the MCM. This way I don't have to travel to run. Seems like a good idea.
