Carol already at 12 isn't it amazing how quick you get there. I've had two days enforced rest so I'm gonna use doubles to get back on track. Well done so far!!

#83....3 miles....ran the last mile in 7:32....fastest mile of the streak and not near what I feel I could probably do at this point.  Still....back to slow and easy tomorrow.

Day 375 with a 27.7 mile run. Groin issues made me cut my 30 miles a little short, yes the same leg/hip that has been acting up. It was feeling better until today. Hopefully I can gimp out a mile or two the next couple of days to keep the streak alive. My 50 miler in January may not happen if this take a while to heal. I have to cut my mileage back to let it get better.

Start again today but when you can't stand you really can't run.

Unlucky #13 done - an unexpected night out on Friday resulted in a hungover 2.2mile run to pick up the car yesterday in the midday heat. Not the best feeling but pace was good considering how I felt - this running every day lark might just be starting to pay off Laughing

Jobaxas - sorry to hear you are still unwell, what a nightmare.  Hope you recover soon!

Thanks - still feeling ridiculously dizzy.  Went back to work today (Monday) but that was a bad move, travelling is not working for me.  Car driving is fine while i'm doing it, but when I step out can barely stand.  The train had a similar effect.

Back to the doctor and get signed off for a bit longer.  Only exercise I'm willing to try is the trainer, I figure clipped in helmet on I shouldnt' do much damage!

Day 376 and the groin felt good today so I ran 5.5 miles. It still feels good.

Run #10 is complete.

Picked up some new shoes this weekend.  Today was my first Newton running experience, two miles on a treadmill in the Gravety's.  I'm going to only use them for my shorter distance/easy runs this month before attempting any Tempo or Long runs in them.

I've had the Newton Distance S for probably about 6 weeks.  Light shoe, and my feet feel great at any distance (15 mi has been my farthest in them so far). Just knowing I am wearing them makes me focus on my form.

#43 (in the Newtons)

3 mi easy recovery, ran hard last two days, and felt ready to go again today, but decided to play it smart. I think my body was confused when it got back to the driveway, it had that, "ok, warmed up now, lets run" feeling.  I can say without a doubt that I am feeling the benefits of the streak now.

#15...6 miles done.

Getting a bit concerned about a knot on the underside of my arch, planter fasciitis from changing running style to mid foot land I suspect. Going to keep massaging and stretching and hope it goes away!

Welcome.

Its fun, until you realize that you can't stop, kind of like heroin.

#44 today.  But I've got the itch already, and not sure I can make it till tomorrow.

I went cold turkey but am bereft without it trying to sneak it back in back to day 1 though later today. I cannot kick this habit I'm an addict

#86....4 miles.

I got a new pair of shoes last week.  I wear Zoot's Ultra Kalani 2.0.  For some reason I have developed a hot spot on my left foot that shows up about 2 miles into my run....right on the ball of my foot...not a neuroma, I've had them and this is not the same.  Vaseline has helped but it's still annoying.  Anyone have any suggestions/cures/reasons for it?

Day 378 and a 10 mile marathon pace run.

Left Brain have you recently changed your stride at all and a striking more midfoot than you use to. It could just be your foot is not use to striking where it is now and it will work itself out in a few days. It could be a little over use injury going on too and you just need to slow you pace and cut you miles for a few days, notice I did not say stop running. By the way I wear the Zoot Ultra TT shoes. I have the same ones as you too but only wear them in the winter when it is in the 20's or lower, they are a bit warmer than the Ultras.
