Champion 6107 Out running or enjoying a fine glass of red... | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not Be Named (Twisnibbins) V Today's post of substance... Tea I have never really drunk tea. I think it's nasty. However, I'm looking for something else to drink and I saw a magazine article that said if you really want a Starbucks peppermint mocha this season, a healthier choice is brewing some peppermint stick tea & throwing in skim milk & sugar. I couldn't find that, but I bought some chai tea (love spicy) and had that with milk & sugar...and I also got some apple spice herbal tea and am drinking that now. So I'm a serious diet Pepsi addict (when I'm not drinking wine or coffee)...is tea a better choice, or are my insides just going to rust out anyway? You may return to your post-padding now. Kristen |

Kristen Tea is better.... Soda often contains phosphoric acid, which can steal calcium from your bones. (Think osteoporosis.) Edited by D001 2007-11-27 8:11 PM |

Kristen Oh, and herbal tea has no caffeine and isn't truly "tea." (ie: it's not made from tea leaves.) |

Kristen ok, now to answer your question tea is better I drink Sportea every day - I hardly ever drink pop (unless it has something in it - lol) or coffee anymore at all I seriously started drinking this a few years ago and love it - it has kind of a citruis flavor and you can drink it hot or cold my favorite way to have it is with sugar free rasberry flavoring and fresh rasberries in it (yes the local coffee place spoils me with the fresh rasberries) this is another one of my favorites - I drink it a lot during the winter http://www.worldpantry.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/CategoryDisplay?cgmenbr=1381491&cgrfnbr=1574580 I also drink green tea - which can be quite refreshing |
