I think Aussie food is just boring in comparison... and kiwi food... 

Yeah, but you guys have meat pies, Vegemite, and pavlova.

And I do miss L&P, perky nanas, pixie caramels and Pinky bars... all of which I can only get in NZ  

And hokey pokey ice cream!!!! 

Then there is Sausage rolls, lamingtons, Belgian Biscuits, Eskimo Log, Tim Tams, Cherry Ripes, Roses, Redskins, Caramello Koalas, Freddo Frogs, Nutella...

It was nasty hot during my run today and I was thinking of you!

Wait, that's all in a good way.

Nasty hot sounds icky for running.  Here it's been kind of cold. 

I think you were doing six miles or something and it was 85 or 86 out.

I did six miles today and it was bleedin' well 92 degrees.

This week it's been in the 60s for the high and around 30 or 40 when I wake up.  It's going to be cold when I run on Sunday.

I actually logged a short run today.... and boy did I cramp up...  gotta start drinkin' more water....

Well looky now it is a real party in here.

Yeah, Heather, my run went funky today too 'cause of the heat ... that's okay, I stopped to eat a meal and cool down (HA HA HA! I REALLY DID!)

40 degrees sounds perfect for me....  I like to either dress warm and heavy or light.... I hate this in between temp...  about 55 today... so I wore shorts and sleeveless.... comfy in the sun, frooze in the shade 

Any and all Nibbs are welcome at my place anytime.

6 miles is way too long for me right now.... yeah... I'd have to stop too....

Truth be told I'd rather run in heat than cold anytime. I am an island girl, after all.

Depends on the humidity....  high humidity can make life miserable...

Yup, indeed!!  My mom makes it for my birthday whenever she's in town.  Started with my 16th birthday and became a tradition thereafter.

never made pavlova........................

tonight I made spaghetti and meatballs from scratch - it was awesome!

speaking of loveable dogs.... I'm thinkin' that it's time I start running with mine.... twofold - 1.) she loses weight... 2.) I have protection (afterall, who's gonna mess with a 100lb black dog on a chain leash)
