Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Good morning, Gobblers! I'm very excited today! I've locked in all my races for the 2010 triathlon season. I'm going to do the same type of schedule as 2009, start with a sprint, then 2 olympics and finish with a HIM. For some reason, getting the races "officially" on my calendar (i.e. paying for them) really gets me stoked about the upcoming season. It also makes me say, "HOLY #%*^%#&! THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE SPORT!" 5/29 - Tri for our Vets, Sea Isle, NJ (Sprint) 6/27 - Philly Tri (Olympic) 8/15 - Northeast Tri, Northeast, MD (Olympic) 9/19 - Syracuse Ironman 70.3 The only other thing I'm thinking of adding is the NJ Marathon in April. I've never done a marathon before and would love to check that off the "bucket list". Have a great day everyone! Bill |

There's something about making it official that really gets you looking forward to the next season. And yeah, those race fees sure do add up. I did 9 tris and a handful of running races this last year. Ouch! |

That is definitely a lot to pay for at once, but at least you're done with registration fees for the year! |

I try to pick mostly local races and will do maybe one destination race every year. Plus, when you register early, you save a lot of money, so deciding your schedule now is always a good plan. |

Went to an REI preview opening for a new store. I got one of these: It's helping with stretching my PF. Not bad for $5. |
