How in the world did I build this program with day 13, tomorrow, being a 16 mile run?  Slow and steady, here I come.

Got up this morning a litttle late.  Kids were already up and getting dressed.  My 5yo asks me to button the back of her shirt but to make sure I don't touch her with my sweaty body.

I tell her I'm not sweaty yet as I'm just getting ready to start running.

She says.... "Oh, well, you smell like you already ran."

WTF???

#13.  Used a vacation day and headed to the park for a 16 mile Long Slow Run... NOT on a treadmill.  Nice cool day.

Resistance is futile.  I'm back!  I'm gonna do it again after a week off with inne ear dizziness.  Nice one today 6.5km -  faster than my usual pace - it hurt but proved it can be done.  Time to get some speed in my legs, I've got distance covered.

amazing how missing one day seems like a disaster!  I've hated my week off from it, so glad to be back though behind the eight ball now back at number 1.

Maybe you should take a week off more often! Wink

Another 80 min treadmill run this morning, 20 min tempo later in it. Should be able to get in another short run later.

Want to do this but but it's probably not the best idea to jump right into it considering that today was my first real run in about 5 or 6 months! My first #1 3.02mi today...I'm sure I'll have to restart few times until I build a little base!

Crazy week at work but....

# 18 done yesterday 3 miles before work

# 19 done this morning 3.4 miles again before work and packing....

Now in Miami airport en-route to Ibiza for a weeks vacation, 18 hours door to door but adamant I will run when I arrive tomorrow.  I am a woman obsessed with not letting the challenge beat me....stubborn!  Love it!!!!

5.5 mi.  It was just above freezing and raining.  I spent alot of the run trying to figure out how cold I would rather it be than have it be raining.  I decided 14ºF.

#2 short and sweet back to car after OWS race humbled by real swimmers. Spot the triathletes out the back fighting through the waves those swimmers slice through humbling

I agree with you, it was upper 30's and raining for my run also and I would rather have 20's and snow than the bone chilling rain any day.

#69. I thought I was going to cross 400 miles for the year this morning, but after logging I find I'm 0.02 short. Almost all of that has been since June, and I couldn't (or wouldn't) have done it without my dog.

I did make it to 72 hours of running for the year which, in the weird little game I play with myself, makes me a Level 3 runner.
