I've brought a stack of papers home with me, and will be "werking" this weekend too. But I'm on BT now! (Of course, it's almost time to sign off again, and take comeandgetit out. But he went out late today, so I think he'll nap for awhile longer.) |

A week of stress does that. Either that, or my thyroid meds need to be adjusted again. Hopefully I can get some rest this weekend. |

And where's Sugar Daddy... wasn't he supposed to be sponsoring us all? My BT membership expires soon... tick tock, tick tock |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIV I haven't gone into it much. I'm studying pulmonary hypertension. I'm trying to figure out what genes turn on and turn off as the disease progresses. Ideally, I'd like to find a set of genes that are representative of the disease so that it can be diagnosed through a blood test rather than a heart catheter. So, I can induce pulmonary hypertension in rats. Then I have to isolate heart muscle tissue and using that I can figure out what is turned on and turned off. It's pretty interesting. I really enjoy clinical research. It's something I would like to stay in, rather than general science research. |

The committee is in charge of my progress towards finishing my PhD. My advisor and co-advisor are in charge of funding. They have grants that pay for my stipend and the things I need to do the studies. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIV Not exactly. Basically the approval means that I get to go forward and keep working on the project I proposed and not have to try to modify the project. The funding is sort of already there because I'm a student. |

We had a vote the other day, and we've decided that Sugar Daddy should support ALL of Nibbs. That way, we can have lots and lots of free time to hang out here in Nibbinsville.
