Something about breathing and needing his nebulizer treatments too often. Hmm. I just want to take care of me for a few hours. Or at least not have to call in reinforcements for simple things like getting the kid to/from school, or the other kid to the doctor. If this keeps up, pretty soon I will be the one rocking in the fetal position in the corner. |

They dont live very far away, and they're retired and willing to gelp out, but I feel like I am taking advantage a little bit. I'm not, it just feels that way because I'm so used to being so independent. I just need a good cry and then I'll be ok. |

I understand the independence thing, I really do. Every now and then we all need a little help though. Let them help now, so you can heal. You'll be back to kicking azz in no time then. |

There were some terrible questions and poor wording and lots of people had the same complaints about it that I did. My son and I have the deal that he gets $25 for straight A's, and $10 for A's and B's. My son missed straight A's by 1 point in Art class. I'm going to give him the $25. He is not an artist. He tried his best, that's all I can ask. Nice Mom. When I was in grade 8, I was technically exempted from 3 of my finals. My Mom made me a deal though that if I wrote them and got over 90% on my finals that I would get to dye my hair...(this was a contenscious issue between my mom and I for most of grade 7 and grade 8)... Anyways. I wrote them all...and got like 80-85%. She let me get my hair dyed anyways...she said because I wrote them and didn't have to, even though I got less than 90% that was still good enough. Haha. She just felt bad that I actually wrote them all. |
