And I don't get a reaction .. just sore where the stinger is stuck. 5+ times? Do you participate in some strange form of wasp handling like those snake handling pastors? No ... I live in the desert. I hike a lot. Wasps LOVE me .. land on me while I'm hiking and I don't know it until the bastardz sting me. One week I got stung 3 times. wasps = (to many to count) scorpions = 4 times stung black widow spider = twice bitten rattlesnake = struck my shoe as he lunged and I kicked deer = 2 knock down to the grounds, once head butted in the stomach, once on my bike. mountain lion = brushed against my leg while sauntering by with a bunny it it's mouth. numerous sitings w/ no encounters the end. ! You're like Steve Irwin. |

Where I hike there are signs posted that say "High Mountain Lion Activity". I always wonder if the mountain lions are HIGH ... once they put up a sign at the head of one trail that said "High Africanized Bee Activity" .. was that just ONE bee... that was HIGH? Beware the high mountain lion, either that or pack *a lot* of easily-discarded munchies. |
