I have a black kimono style dress that I have as a back up... otherwise I have another night to go to in the run up to chrissie I was saving it for as its more businessy... I have a black dress with a gray and black stripey skirt part to it... the problem is Im still carrying the extra weight on my mid section from the steroids so Im not sure what to do about it... Im thinking maybe something simple dress wise then get some OTT accessories big sparkly jewellery and maybe...gasp... gloves? (If i can find somewhere to get some) sounds like you have a couple of good back ups, I wouldn't worry too much about the mid section - I'm sure you are far more critical of yourself than anyone else will be simple is good - ohhh, soooooo much fun!!! haha I just miss my old body.... I need to get the whole eating healthy thing together but its so hard when it never used to be a mjor issue! Stupid drug, stupid tummy, stupid flares... just fingers crossed I can stay off the drugs and manage it with other drugs instead |

Still feeling kind of sniffly and like I might be coming down with something. Got stopped on my way out for an impromptu meeting, which ate into my window of opportunity for swimming. Crappy day all around! I make it a priority to eat dinner with my kids, so in the end that's what I did. I stopped on the way home and bought bubble bath, so I'm going to relax and wash away the cares of the day.
Smart girl.. that sounds like a GREAT way to relax after a chaotic ending to the day!
I love that you make eating with your kids a priority.. my mum did that growing up but my dad never did... I think its just part of that spending time together and knowing what everyone is up to... thanks! It is my favorite part of the day! On that note, I'm going to go relax! Don't have too much fun without me ;-) |

You need to go shopping. What style is the party skirt? Is it Black? YOU NEED TO FIND THOSE FISHNETS!!!! What about trying to go with a jewel tone satin shirt for the party skirt? Or better yet a sweater with a little lamae (sp?) woven in. Then use the second pair of shoes from your filing cabinet. Take a towel and place it on a tile or wood surface we're you have the ability to travel a distance. Get in plank position with feet on towel, now pull yourself across the room with a walking motion of your arms. That's just one of the many exercises she had us going through tonight. Is this insane, or an I just a wuss? Guess I should have eaten lunch, and more than just wheat thins and OJ before class. Don't think I'm going to get that run in today. |

Man, I haven't worked that hard in a class (or video) in a long time and I take some hard azz classes! A grand total of 8 sets of pushups spread throughout, monster lunges, plank series. ..And it lives up to the title, the only thing sed is a towel. It's a seriously hardcore workout but it didn't leave me wiped out, just knew I had worked is all. Now about that little black dress thing...The last 2 functions I went to I wore a black lace turtleneck with a different lace skirt (black lace over cream) and got monsterous compliments. People thought I had some expensive dress on and it was definitely a steal |
