LOL) but if im real, real 'good' over the rest of the month, i should finish up with a 100% in that category as well. i didnt bust a move like i typically do wracking up the minutes/sessions what w vacation/my hiatus and all, but hopefully i can help out some of our ailing teammies. [this is GREAT motivation, btw] its all good. stacieb Hey Stacie! Welcome back - I have been sporadic since your return! Great job this month! thanks for the warm welcome home, BILL. i had a splendid time away, though i could stay at the beach forever, im glad training wise to be back at it! thank ya for the compliment on reaching my challenge goals. i was a little bummed, thinking i wasnt contributing much in the way of sessions, but knowing that my xtra effort this back at it week, will help out, its motivating.... YEAH US! stacieb |

Yesterday was a nice break but it's over. Oh well, fall will be here before we know it, right? I am going to get on my bike today. Even if it's only for 30 minutes. I promise! |

Expert 1117 Shalimar, FL | Subject: RE: Team #2 - August 4 is More Challenge I got a bike ride in this morning, but I'm not going to it this way again. Thought I'd do a few loops around the neighborhood before work. But... I forgot that school is back in session. I can't believe the number of moms and dads that drop their kids off! So I cut it short before I got pushed off the road. The good news is that I only have one more swim and one more bike to go for 100%. I think it is do-able. |

The problem is I prefer to run! wish I was in that prefer to run boat! I want to ride my bicycle! I want to ride my bike! but with a half marathon and many goals to meet in this challenge...NO BIKE RIDING FOR ME until I get caught up and with this Hal Higden program... and suxxx cuz...his program does not put me on my bike daily....like I would prefer! No wonder we get along - I feel the same way! Ride to the gym to lift and swim and ride home (the long way) - skip running all together I think queen wrote the opening of that song for me - I love to ride...but I have to admit that I enjoy running now...WAS THAT MY OUTER VOICE??? now I need to find my swim jiggy?!? did someone find it out there??? and whats this talk about skip running!? noooo, dont throw in the towel. Just toss in a run here and a run there between all your rides and who knows before long you too may begin to like it!???? I enjoy it - but I love riding. Big difference but running kills an hour better than riding does so that is my I don't have time today workout! I love riding too, better than running. But my bicycle is getting a new chain and we have to wait for it to come in. No wonder I kept slipping out of gear. LOL be careful Kendra...sometimes (most often) when you replace a chain...the cogs also need to be replaced...they are worn and when you put on a new chain it - it does not match up to the teeth on the cog...and when you go to pedal your chain will slip even more!?! take it for a spin before you leave the shop. |
