Morning Ghoulies. got up this morning and got a bike and swim in before work. I've been saying I was going to do that for months and I finally did it. Yeah!
Woot! woot! Go Kendra, it's your day!! (hehehe. I feel silly today.)
You have new bike ride syndrome - just wait until you actually get to ride the beast!
Who, me? or Kendra? I'm confused
You - you are the one feeling silly and didn't you just get a new bike? Now I am confused
Must be the bike making me giddy. LOL. I get to go pick it up tomorrow. *happy dance*
Glad I got it right
How much do they charge for the build if you don't mind me asking
for me, $80. Usually around $100-140. It's considered a custom build, since nothing has been installed on the frame whatsoever.

Hypothetically speaking... if you rode your bike 30.52 miles, and while you're standing in the kitchen drinking your chocolate milk, is it acceptable to eat 2 Oreo double stuff cookies?

Amen
Amen (again). I just found out his afternoon that we lost my great-aunt to breast cancer last night. Cancer sucks.
The LBS called, and there's a problem with hubby's bike--apparently the head tube has a "layup of carbon". The carbon is too thick in one spot and it is interfering with the steertube. I tried to call the manufacturer but haven't heard back. Good thing hubby's out of town for a while and won't need it anytime soon. My bike should be ready tomorrow, though.
I got on the computer and let it suck away all my free time. Now my son has a friend over to play and don't dare go get on the trainer in the basement and leave the kids upstairs unsupervised. So, I think I'll stay and play here for a while instead.

Eeyore is also getting made fun of these days because her medical school line of credit is being used for things like wetsuits and bike boxes...
Apparently I'm weird to not be spending my line of credit on 500$ pants...and skirts...
I think I want a Garmin...but I need to exercise self control and actually have an occasion to get a garmin for...My bday is in Oct...that seems far away...haha...and I don't graduate this year....and I've already gotten into med school...No other occasions to gift myself for...uhoh....eeyore is pondering...
Evening Ghoulies. Thanks for all the prayers/hugs/kind thoughts today. It was a tough one, but your support made a difference. We're a small company and the lines of work/friendship cross easily. Losing Nat hit everyone really hard. Add to the fact that we work to find/develop new drugs that save lives (we focus on critical care medicine although not oncology) and we take it personally.
Will catch up on the comings and goings tomorrow. Today was a wash workout wise, but well spent honoring someone special.
