Fred - 12 miles on a treadmill?! Wow, that's crazy. Hope it went ok and you didn't lose your mind or anything.
I had a great run yesterday which was the longest of the year so far and probably the last 12 months to be honest. Felt great all the way through and only slightly stiff knees today so really happy with it.
Today was a quick swim mostly to just get back into the pool and see if I sink or not. Turns out it was one of the best sessions I've had for ages even though the pool was rammed with people!
All in all the training this weekend has made me really excited for training. I might even be able to do this Ironman thing and survive possibly even enjoy it.
Swimming question to do with exhaling really. I've found that if I keep my head dead centre and exhale it really bugs my ears. Is the better technique to breathe out as you're rotating your head to take a breathe in? |
