I don't have the diligence or drive to eat purely for fuel.pitt83 - 2012-08-31 9:12 AM mehaner - 2012-08-31 9:01 AM Bacon > Quinoabradleyd3 - 2012-08-31 8:56 AM First Double post ever......wow. Meh get her first sting.....I get my first double. Big days for us. i also had quinoa for the first time last night, i was kind of underwhelmed. well, duh. i'm tracking my calories/macronutrients and trying to figure out what diet i need. only been working on it this week but all signs point to my old BBing ways...more protein! there is a balance of both. figure out what the nutrition requirement is, then eat the tastiest thing to satisfy it! i have a fried egg and half an avocado for breakfast most days, cooked with EVOO and salt and pepper, super delicious and really satisfying, packed with good stuff for me. right now i'm just monitoring WHAT i'm eating and how it makes me feel...then i will try to adjust to what worked on the days i felt the best and avoid what made me feel/perform the worst. it's a science experience with my guts and i love it! |

I'm not totally terrible. I made roasted chicken tostadas last night of which the worst nutritional part was the shell. Lettuce, salsa, reduced fat jack cheese all OK too. Making BBQ chicken pizza tonight with the leftover chicken. But then again, especially while on the road, you can't always pick and choose. |

Not a dry eye, including mine, in the house. Um, people drink to much at work functions, the corp lawyer ask me for a ride back to his hotel room (never met him before it was awk), I tried to beat the new boss into the office today (thinking he would see who strolled in late) got here at 7:35 and he was already working :-(, and my head is a little hurty again. Happy b-day J, want me to spank you? |

My old company.....there was at least 2 people fired every year for their behavior at our national sales meeting. Sexual harassment, missing meetings/events due to being hungover, etc. Never a dull moment. |

It's like post doc trick or treat. All you here is "Can I take?" and get no meaningful conversation. Worse yet are the mixers / poster sessions where no one talks with you (they talk amongst fellow attendees), but you're expected to staff the booth. There's a reason trade show booths are 10x10ft! |
