Cranus - 2009-06-16 2:05 AM I ran my first 19 miles on Canadian soil. I must say, it's nice soil.

Thank you! We are quite proud of our soil.

I was going to run last night but fell asleep with my son while I was putting him to bed. That's okay because it was an extra, unscheduled workout anyway. I'm thinking of tacking it on today.

Seeing as today is the 16th, we're now more than halfway through! Keep up the good work, Trifectians. (Trifectites? Trifecters?)

Back on the running train today.  I got my 2 miles and 21 min. in before work.  I have 2 longer runs later this week so I am still on track for my 600 min.

And what's up w/ the June Bugs?  I think we need to do a group huddle/post pad session today or tomorrow.  We are being left in the dust on both accounts.

I need to bike for 60 minutes tonight then possibly a short run...I dont' like leaving the puppy by himself all the time and he's too small to run at this point. I mean he can run but his run is like my walk so can I log his minutes?

MY dog was 6 months old and as long as he something to chew on he took the crate pretty well.  He might have been crated before though, I don't know.I also tried gates and a crate. Leaving the crate door open but he was still confined...worked well the 1st night, so the 2nd night he was locked in he only whined a little. Now he goes in no problem.  Potty training! I was letting him out every 1/2 hour and if he peed I gave him a treat and made a big fuss. That worked for me. Sure we still had accidents but he got the hang of it quicjkly.  He is a lab mix and I believe that makes him a quick learner   Hopefully you'll have no problems.

52.86 run this morning.  It wasn't fun - but I got it done.  I'm tired... and whiny.

However, I ran the disk last night on the bike.  I don't know if I was any faster but I definitely looked cooler! *laughing*

Patience, patience and patience. We go to dog school with ours...she's 17 weeks..and one of their mottos is, "Your persistence needs to overcome the dogs resistence".
I'm finding almost as hard as caring for a baby..as fulltime.
