(Because I haven't done anything in a few days, and am starting to feel slug-like.) How was your ride? Good morning world and all who inhabit it...the weather is nice for a ride today is a happy day She rode a statioary at the gym cause she decided the treadmill was as bad as I warned her. My ride was awesome though OK, so I had a choice of running on the treadmill or running in the drizzle. I obviously chose to run in the drizzle. A year ago, I liked treadmills. Now, I hate 'em. Actually a year ago, I avoided wogging whenever possible. Now I actually like it. Go figure. LOL Edited by D001 2009-09-20 8:38 PM |

So youre warming up for next months challenge then Dee? Walking would be good. Why not just go to the park and take a walk? How's the weather there now? I'll be in for the run challenge, yes. I've missed the challenges. (Moving suxs. So does Charter. If they had any competition, I'd definitely drop them and go elsewhere.) What about you? Are you going to do the challenge? |

I hope so.... I always say walking and ellipticals are ok... and that would be less jarring... Need to find a decent park near home for a walk I guess... the weathers grey and yucky we had storms last night.... funny but when it started raining yesterday afternoon it was the first time I felt I wanted to leave the house... something about walking/running in the rain that appealed to my mood |

(Along with Lisa, too.) Do you want me to go ahead and write up the announcement. I can list you and Lisa as co-organizers, or if you prefer, I can just put Lisa's name. Completely up to you. Not trying to add to your stress. If you don't want to co-run it, it's definitely not a problem. Do what YOU need to do in order to feel better! |

The way Im feeling Im not sure whether it would be a really good distraction to do something like that because it will give me some focus and help with my motivation... OR... whether its the opposite... Any thoughts? |

OR... whether its the opposite... Any thoughts? How about this: I'll write up something based upon what you and I normally post for the challenges. I'll list the 3 of us (you, Lisa and me) as co-organizers. You can then get as involved, or not involved, as you want. If you're feeling OK and want to participate, GREAT. If you're not, then you don't need to. It'll be completely up to you. No stress, no "persuasion," nothing. Just do what you want/need. That said, I do think you think about a SMALL walking goal, and participate. Getting outside may make you feel better. Plus, the weather there should be getting nice, right? What do you think? Will that work? |
