Evening Ghoulies. Thanks for all the prayers/hugs/kind thoughts today.  It was a tough one, but your support made a difference.  We're a small company and the lines of work/friendship cross easily.  Losing Nat hit everyone really hard.  Add to the fact that we work to find/develop new drugs that save lives (we focus on critical care medicine although not oncology) and we take it personally.

Will catch up on the comings and goings tomorrow.  Today was a wash workout wise, but well spent honoring someone special.

Hugs back to all of you.

Here's one more hug for you.  From all you've said she sounded like a truly special person.

Question of the evening

Hypothetically speaking... if you rode your bike 30.52 miles, and while you're standing in the kitchen drinking your chocolate milk, is it acceptable to eat 2 Oreo double stuff cookies?

Totally!  In fact, 5 or 6 would have been an acceptable number too

mndymond - 2010-03-10 7:35 PM I feel like Eeyore......blah...blah...blah....

Just finished an hour long spin in the gym...brought my bike shoes to clip in rather than using the cages....cause half the bikes don't have cages...

Now I'm eating a snack before swimming...then hometimes...then sleep...then cardio review tomorrow morning....then cardio final on Fri...

Eeyore...this is my mood...

TAKE

A

DAY

OFF!!!

Second opinion here:  Dr Ann is right.  Take the day off.

X3!!!! You have earned it. do they teach you about adrenal insuficiency at school???

But I took a day off yesterday! ...

Yes, we did learn about adrenal insufficency...I could even name you a bunch of the causes of it...haha...Ya endo block. Good old Addisons disease, trauma, infection (fungal, TB, etc)...I could continue but I wont...

Does adrenal insufficiency=eeyore?

Good morning Ghoulies!

I was very near a panic attack this morning. I couldn't get into BT until just a few minutes ago. 2 hours without BT how's a girl to cope?

Anyway, I'm here now and that's all that matters.

So what do the Ghoulies have planned for today?

I'm no swim expert... but maybe if you used your arms instead of your ears for your strokes you might go faster. I'm just sayin'.

WAY wrong Robin. And by looking at your avatar your ears aren't even close to being the size of Eeyore's.

Next time, try the arms!!!

Morning Ann(e) - I must have just missed it because it was down for a couple of minutes when I first got in but now is working - obviously huh?

Less impact on your shin, too!

One more tip... try it in water, not mud.

I figured our IT department got sick of me being on BT all day and shut it down - glad it was a BT problem

Oh I'd have had a chat with your IT department if that were the case.

Ann, I have an opposite government- consultant problem today.
I am the government worker and today I have to go to a site where the consultant- making 2-3 X as much as me, wants me to tell him where to sample, what to sample, how deep yada yada yada. Of course, when I get to the site being the supergoddess that I am I can look at the contaminated soil with my xrf eyes and with my PID nose tell them exactly what chemicals are out there....
He will be ticked that he is going to actually have to do work.

Of course, he is the exception. Most consultants I work with are excellent. Just makes the lazy ones seem worse

Rant over

Why did you even have to ask that question?  When I get back from a ride all food is fair game!

Carp - I just remembered that I forgot to bring my York Peppermint Patties for my little sugar rush during the day Cry

You're gonna have to find another way to "get the sensation"....

Hopefully I will be able to check in later. I have yet another phone conference this morning then I get to go meet lazy consultant in the rain wading in pH 13 puddles...
In between I hope to BT.
