I am probably not going to get my run in--I spent the morning waiting for the sheetrock guys (who eventually came and did what they were supposed to), then I spent the afternoon at the Physical Therapist's office, being tortured fine tuned. ![]() |

Apparently my ankle tendinosis issues do in fact stem from some problems in my hip girdle. Yeah, my hip flexors are weak, my hip abductors are weak, my hip adductors are too tight, my hip external rotators are too tight, and my hamstrings are too tight, quads possibly too weak, and my gastrocs are too tight. Oh, and I pronate about 10 degrees when I run without shoes on, and my leg never gets completely straight, and I place one foot literally in front of the other when I'm running, making me waddle, and kick myself in the calves and ankes when I'm running. Other than that, I'm fine. LOL. So, yeah, PT today was a little different than it has been. They gave me new shoulder exercises, took away a bunch of the range of motion exercises i was doing, and then instead of all the ankle exercises, we started this whole new hip regimen. I was even stretched quite aggresively for 30 plus minutes. Ow. But, the PT is really impressed with my shoulder ROM, and the progress I've made in the past 2 weeks.

hi, Robin! Hopefully the paint willbe going up Thursday. And the carpet samples should be here any day now, so we can get that picked out. I hope the carpet we pick is in stock and is delivered quickly. I don't know how many more weeks of this I can take. I want my house back!!! |

I had my alarm set for 4:00, but I didn't get to bed until 10:00 last night and I could not get myself out of bed at 4:00. I'll have to try and get a workout in late tonight, it's another crazy evening, but Wednesdays will slow down after this week.
