We'll see how it compares to ground beef tacos. Mmmm chicken! I love making stew in the winter. And it's just not the same with chicken. The chicken tacos were pretty good. I think we could have used less taco seasoning than we normally do. They were slightly too salty, but still good. mmm.... okay I'm hungry... I've got roasted lemon pepper chicken for lunch meat.... I've got to disagree on the chicken stew... though it's nothing near being healthy my mom makes the best chicken stew w/ roux and leg quarters (yep she leaves the skin on).... and then served over rice w/ petit' pois on the side... YUMM!!!!! It's the best ever... (esp when you mix the peas in with the brown gravy).... Okay, when's the cold front going to roll through???

The race doesn't start until 8am, which is entirely too late for August around here. It's a time trial start and a cap at 300 participants. So realistically, there could be people going off closer to 8:30. Some people will be finishing later than 11am, which is pretty scary actually. Either way, it'll be well into the 90s when I'm coming in |
