I played with doggies all weekend! The puppy was annoying the crap out of the yellow lab, who just laid there looking pitiful, as if to say "rescue me!!". He'd get up and lay somewhere else and the puppy would come and jump on his head, so he'd get up and move across the room - poor thing! The other little dog LOVED playing with the puppy - they wrestled and played for hours. Of course, he's still a young dog as well, probably a little over a year. Bailey, the lab, is 5 and had enough of the puppy after an hour or so. But he was very good and tolerant - sweet boy

Me and the special lady went to come friends' place last night and played Wii.  There was one game where you could play all these different mini games and it had boxing, barrell-rolling, gymnastics etc.  We were all exhausted and sweating by the end of it.  Almost like sexeh time-ah.

Bailey liked the puppy at first - he was VERY excited to see the puppy, sniff it, etc. But then the puppy wouldn't leave him alone, and poor Bailey was tired from the car, so he just wanted to take a nap.

Ugh - my slurping co-workers are eating lunch again. Ick. And they all get enormous amounts of food, so they're eating FOREVER. So gross

Are they also like my co-workers and after a meal like that, will sit around and complain about how they can't lose weight?  Then get offeded if I say "maybe if you didn't just scarf down 3000 calories on your lunch break, and take 4 snack breaks, you might not be so upset about your weight."

None of these guys are overweight - the few in question are my age and in good shape (one of them is older, and not in perfect shape, but he's not fat at all).

I am trying to figure out what to do with myself. Not loving my church group anymore, haven't had a relationship in 2.5 years, my job is just "meh". Things are getting stagnant. But I don't know where I'd go. Boston is too cold, Cali is too wacky and too expensive, the South is gross and too conservative (sorry) and the Midwest is too uncultured (and also too conservative). I like DC, but I think I need a change.

If you don't want to ride hills, Hampton Roads is the place to be.

What about the Pacific Northwest?  It's really the only place you didn't say...  Well, unless you want Alaska or Hawaii, or just out of the US.  But there are, I hear, some places in the South that are big strongholds of Northerners.  Well other than NY South (Florida) I have friends that live in Cary, NC and they say that nearly their entire subdivision is from the North.  THey go so far as to say Cary= Containment Area for Relocated Yanks.

But I always will say to go to upstate NY, especially the Finger Lakes area.  Not too far from places, nice small towns, and great wine.

Hehe. I'm not actually sure that I want to ride at all, really. But triathloning isn't the reason that I want to go elsewhere. However, extreme cold is a deterrent, since I will definitely continue running after this season, though the fate of my tri career is uncertain.
