Ya, I cannot believe that woman complained about you coming in EARLY. I guess you just make her look bad. Makes me sick when slackers bring people down. I still have my fingers crossed for a great job to come your way ASAP.

I just got a call from the top guy, my boss's boss. He wants me to come up and see him in about an hour. I have worked here for over a year and have never had a conversation with this man.

I asked him if he could tell me what this was about. He said it's nothing bad, he's just heard that I've been having a hard time down here and he wants to see what's up. SWEET! From what I have heard he CANNOT stand the woman who has been giving me a hard time.

I don't want to throw anyone under a bus, that's not how I roll, but I will stand up for myself.

I'll let you all know how it plays out.

kcarroll - 2010-03-11 9:12 AM Morning Ghoulies.  I had my masters swim this morning then had to rush to get the car to the dealer for a service.  Left my b'fast/lunch in my car (hope the mechanic enjoys the pbh sandwich) so I'm scrounging.  I just ate an entire tub of Jif *to go* peanut butter with some pretzel rods.  Not the most nutritious start to the day.  380 cals for the pb alone.  Yikes.

She's not in today and she won't be back until Tuesday.

I had emailed my boss, and he sent the email to the three gov't people I work with most and told them to fix it. I haven't heard from them yet.

I had a call yesterday morning from a director in another department and he wanted to know how I was. He said he'd heard I was having a hard time down here. I'm not sure how he knew because I hadn't said anything to anyone here about the email I got.

Interesting things going on. No matter what takes place today I still want to get out of here. Contractors are still not treated well, and the work I am doing is not what I want to do.

I sent out resumes to 5 different companies this week who I saw had openings, one of them had several, so hopefully something pans out soon.
