ironannekidd - 2010-04-22 5:00 AM I hurt my hamstring. It has been bothering me for awhile now, but the past few days it has gotten worse. I couldn't run last night.

I got not quite a mile down the road and it was locked up so tight I could barely walk. My husband was on his way home, he stopped and picked me up. I rolled it on the foam roller last night, did some stretches, soaked in a hot bath for awhile. It is still really tight and sore this morning.

I thought about bringing my hot pad into work and using it, but I didn't. I do have the heater under my desk running though.

Right now my only plan is to finish in Pittsburgh, even if I have to walk it. After that I will reevaluate and take some time off if necessary. I don't care about Black Bear, my main goal for the season is the Marine Corps Marathon. I need to be healthy to start training for that in a few weeks.

Oddly enough, no. I know I live in San Diego but I need to be sure that will still be true come January. Last year the race sold out by late October/early November or so if I remember correctly.
