I will tell you that after 6 years of endurance training in the U.S., the shift back has not been easy.

I have trouble comparing KM and M, but that just reminds me to focus on my own training since it seems that most of BT works in M.

Helps keep me occupied on long steady rides and especially runs.

I like that it seems like you complete more in KM.

yeah, I love this!

Unfortunately, in races, it makes it seem like you have a lot longer to go, too.

Good point!

BT is running really slow for me. Are you having the same problem? The pages are struggling to load but the other websites I'm on are fine.

My Internet is powered by squirrels so it's hard for me to differentiate what's loading up most slowly.

I have noticed, however, that sometimes during "off" hours it is harder to get BT to roll.

That's right, we live in the modern world down here as well

I can't believe that imperial is still being used...

Because I live in Canada I have to know both imperial and metric. I bought a new tape measure recently and I was sad to discover that it was yardage and inches with no metric! Useless!

Just wait until the American's wake up...

I grew up on a farm where all the farmers still used the imperial system, then went to school where we had to use metric.

Doesn't help my parents are american as well.

At least I was the only person my age I know that can convert measurements between the systems in my head

Well so you are a Yank after all!

rh8463 - 2010-10-08 1:41 PM 20 minutes until leaving for lunchtime for me - my tummy is rumbling already, and we have to drive there and order and wait for food....

I love work lunches when they send the online menu with the invite and you choose and order to have it ready when you get there, just leave enough time to have one drink and do some small talk first

Oooh, that sounds good! This one is just at the surf club so nothing too fancy...the closer it gets though the more I am thinking of eating!

Just as long as someone in the group doesn't order the steak well done

I had fish and chips and while it tasted good at the time I am seriously regretting it and remembering why I don't eat fried food....
Plus I need a nap now!

I seriously made the goal of 50 pages thinking it would demoralise those who I wish not to name.

I'm really believing we are going to do it now

Im back! Plus I have no wish to do any work this afternoon so I suspect I will spend the next 2 hours posting on here....

Before the rest of our team wakes up I want to say I have no problem with America, just the imperial system. However, as previously mentioned, I have no problem borrowing your system if it is convenient for me. Thank you.
