I need all the crossed fingers i can get.

i really hoping when i started in October that all would be settled and i would be in a groove.

although i am UBER UBER UBER GRATEFUL that i have options, this in limbo in process getting started crap is starting to wear on me.

i just want a job that i can sink my teeth into, feel settled and confident that i can take care of my kids moving forward.

when things pan out at this agency (im confident they will, at least that's my posture in the process) i plan to stick around for good while.

My step son had such difficulty reading! He was tested for everything and nada, but there was a big ole problem none the less. Turns out, one of the problems was he was convinced that he couldn't do it. The more he tried the more he couldn't. I spent hours showing him he could. We read everything, with bribes on my part. Advertisements, the words on commercials, books, magazines, menus at retaraunts- (tho those are difficult- lots of weird descriptive words that are unfamiliar to kids). he still has difficulty. He reads for fun but it takes him a loooongg time to finish a book. He now knows that that is just fine. (He is teaching math to high school kids now). I guess I helped cause when your step mom says you are okay, then you must be. Step moms are evil- everyone knows that !

I don't think it's fair that I don't get to spend my snow day lounging around the house like the kiddos do.
