Good Morning, Rabobank!!

Got stage 4 (or was that 5?  how have I already lost count?) in and almost at 50% of goal mileage this morning.  YES, you heard me right, I said MORNING!  Finally breaking out of my Can't Get Outta Bed Before 7:30 Rut and back to it.  Woo hoo!  A new saddle really helps with the motivation, too.  The Terry has given me a whole new outlook on life.  It's a brand new world when your butt isn't sore.  Seriously.

Had to cut it short cause I still didn't make it out of the house until 6:45, but I was happy that the bike path that I thought would be teeming with joggers and strollers (Minuteman) was pretty manageable at that hour, and should be even better when I can actually get out the door by 6 as planned.  Rode with my bf, so next time he sleeps in, I'll be a little faster, too.

Thinking that I need to up my goal, but will figure that out after the weekend.

Off to work!  Have a good day, folks!

Great Job Mina.  Congrats on the saddle.  If you want to take some of my miles I'd be happy to give them up.

Oh, and I'll have to get a pic next time.  I took a couple HILARIOUSLY blurry photos with my iphone while riding that look like I'm about to eat pavement.  Luckily I wasn't, but the shutter button is not really placed conveniently enough for action shots.  Anyway, when I'm not racing against the clock to be able to shower and make it to the office on time, I'll be able to stop at a scenic halfway point for a something to share.

No biking for me today but I did one of my best swims ever this morning and am so happy (and tired). It was all sprint/AN and so freakin hard, I was pure red and hanging on the side of the pool during RIs. I thought about how my all out effort is a leisurely pace for some, ha. But at least I was able to keep pace with the guy sharing the fast lane with me. If only I could swim like that over a distance. Sigh.

Nothing here yet either, but I'm sure when i go to swim tonight it will thunder and lightning and thus no swim.

I'm lucky.  My pool stays opens during thunderstorms

I was going to go to the neighborhood ourdoor pool.  The community indoor pool does stay open.

LazyMarathoner - 2009-07-14 8:55 PM Stage 5 done, it was a pathetic recovery ride on the trainer, my legs were dead and it was just light spinning. A whopping 10.66 miles but I'm almost 50% of total goal now.

Good job on being at 50%.  Keep up the good cycling.

So glad to hear that the saddle swap is working out.  That is a very important piece of equipment.
Great job on reaching 50% on the challenge.  Keep up the great cycling.

Well, you can't bike everyday.  Take a day off and enjoy the run.
