I am having my house cleaned... right now..... while I "work".

Yes, Carlsbad is about 45 minutes north of downtown but SD Airport is definitely the closest. As I recall, Ann was looking at rental homes both up in Carlsbad/North County as well as closer to central SD.

Peer pressure is fun Don't worry Ghoulies. I'm definitely planning on being there.

I'm outta here Ghoulies. Driving in the rain and a doctor's visit are on tap. Yay. Have a good afternoon everyone!

This is looking less and less likely for me. IF the DH gets elected, that is really close to the "swearing in at" ceremony and I could not miss that. Meaning travel for both of us for that time. Then he will be traveling every week for the next 8 months.

Okay, Ghoulies. I am out of here as well. I may not get a chance to check in this weekend. I am traveling with the DH to Raleigh. Hopefully the hotel's accommodations will be conducive to some training and internet.  If not, I will talk with you all on Monday.

i'll try and catch up. promise.

been ridiculously busy the past day and a half.

i had a full day yesturday subbing and then straight off to the Y for lifeguard training.  left the house at 7:15 am and didnt get home until 9:30 pm ......but its all good as its all MOVING FORWARD WITH MY NEW LIFE STUFF!

the training will be FINTO next Wednesday when i'll be officially certified.

then i meet w the Aquatics Director on Friday for my orientation.

they are already looking to put me on the May schedule.

i'll shadow a swim instructor this Cycle, and then i'll be able to have my own class starting the beginning of July when the next cycle starts.

though i think lifeguarding will be good, SWIM INSTRUCTION and COACHING is really what i want to do w my time.

im highly sought after though as a lifeguard cuz im MATURE    how's that for nicely saying that im 2+xs as old as the average lifeguard 

they like having us 'adult lifeguards' on shift w the younger ones to provide supervision.  smart call, i think.


as for the subbing, i had FOUR JOBS to choose from just today....but i ended up not taking any placements because i already picked up an xtra shift at the Y this morning 5-11am.


so.

its work.  work.  work. for me.  at least right now.


NO WORRIES.  the QUEEN has NOT gone all boring.

i AM going out w some girlfriends tomorrow night.

meeting cute boys....ALWAYS a possibility with me! 


only wish i had ICECREAM MANS PHONE NUMBER, i'd probably be calling him to meet me.

and they arent gonna fire my AZZ.

oh.

one more thing.

i had my first night at home w/out the boys.

they were sleeping over at their dads house.  he took them to take your kid to work day today.  it was just easier for them to stay with him, then for him to come here and pick them.  that way i could go into work early too.


that said, I SURVIVED.

i expected it to be really difficult since it was the first night w/out them because of the seperation.

but you know what.  it was OK.

actually it was kinda of nice probably cuz i was soooo tired from the long day.

i just came home, got a snack, changed clothes and crawled into bed.

the quiet was nice.


see.  i told ya im gonna be better than fine.

My throat hurts, and my head hurts, and I keep trying to take a nap and no one will let me, the stupid phone keeps ringing.

If you are at work, go home.  If you are at home, unplug the phone and lock the door.  All else fails, go to my house.  It's quiet. I'm going to be in the office for a while.

I left work early because I wasn't feeling well. The home phone has rang twice, and my cell once.

Wow. What a slow night!

Good morning everyone!

I have the day off today, WOOHOO!!!!

Today is the Race for Education at the kiddos school. I'll spend an hour there this morning doing laps around the track with my son, then I have a 4 hour break before I spend an hour doing laps with my daughter.

The weather here today is supposed to be 68 and sunny. Sounds pretty good to me.

Has anyone heard from Dee lately?
