Went to my first running class/group run last night. It was a lot more fun doing it with a group, than trying to do on my own. I'm feeling hopefull that I will be successfu.

Hubby won a pair of new running shoes also. He was needing a pair, so when they called out his name, we were very very happy. Now the $15 credit I have at the store can go to my new pair in a couple of months.

Bill, did you guys get snow?

Nekkid - we got about 4-6" Sunday Night/Monday Morning but the second wave blew south of us and we got nothing. I think my snowmobile trail riding is over for the season unfortunately. We seldom get any good snow from here on out. Supposed to be 40 Thursday and Friday.

i should be able to work there full time rather than straddling two agencies.

a pain this job market is. NOBODY wants to pay full time salaries and/or benefits anymore.

but the upside is that i have HUGE amount of FLEXIBILITY and with the kids being young and needing me at home still, i can be.

the director i interviewed with refrained from giving me an offer only because she felt that i was very well suited canidate not only for her department but another department w/in the same agency.

she wanted to recommend me to the director of THAT department first. then i will get offers from BOTH departments and i can get up and rolling.

i have some clearances i need to secure in the meantime.

i strained my shoulder.

ouch.

its been a bit tweaky for awhile now and ive been babying it.

but the deep, wet heavy snow.

its officially strained now.

im having a hard time raising it up and reaching forward.

and i just finished shoveling not too long ago.

i expect it to be REALLY sore tomorrow.

This is what we did this morning.

My daughter and I made a calender and every day she does homework without a fight, writes neatly, and practices her piano she gets a sticker, or two. After 10 stickers she gets a reward. She is very excited about it. She just asked if she could get a sticker for reading a book, too. Of course she can.

I need to get more stickers!
