bcraht - 2012-08-10 4:54 PM So cool that you will even be on the same course!  Good luck Felicia and Ben!!  I am running a nighttime 5k with my nephew this fall--I am looking forward to it more than any of my other races!

and double awesome that it's a night time run. I wish there were more of those.

Yeah, we get glow in the dark shirts and head lamps too.  Last year I did this race with friends and it POURED rain.  Still cool to see all the lights on the seawall though!

I feel better.

I think that means I don't feel outright lousy for the first time in a few days.

Someone tell me that does NOT mean I ought to go swimming in two hours.

DO NOT GO SWIMMING IN TWO HOURS.  DO NOT GO SWIMMING IN FOUR HOURS.  DO NOT GO SWIMMING UNTIL YOU FEEL BETTER.  OR AT LEAST UNTIL YOU FEEL AS GOOD AS YOU DID BEFORE THIS MOST RECENT FEVER.

Drat.

Maybe, maybe not. But at least every dire warning gives me an extra second of pause before I go running off into whatever disaster awaits me next.

Heh, I know. The small portion of the world secretly rooting for climate change.

The weather has been great as of late, though. Just in time for fall!

We had a two-year rainy season which started during the less-rainy season when I arrived in Indonesia. (Being that we have two seasons here: rainy, when it rains every day and usually most of the day, and less rainy, where it might rain every day but it won't last all day, not even usually a few hours).

Yeah.  I was running at lunch the other day, thinking about how I was going to do that during the school year too.  Then I remembered that it will be dark and rainy.

Yes, and tell the delivery driver you have to take a picture for us.

It's really funny--I was thinking of doing that yesterday, or two days ago (whenever it was).

Oh, I've been plenty used to it for years!  I had just blocked it out of my mind with the recent spate of nice weather.  Honestly, I would rather run outside in the wind, rain, snow or whatever than run on the treadmill.

By yourself or with someone else?

Something that reflects your looks/personality or just anything cool?

Should it actually be easy to run in?

I'm watching team synchro swimming right now.

Those chicks are HOT and those moves are insanely difficult.

Probably by myself but if the costume required a second I could wrangle someone else to do it with me. Like, there can't be a Venus without a Serena Smile

I don't have any other guidelines. Not even a slight direction. This could go so many different ways...
