We have a refrigerator that has a small door and compartment for bottles.   Perfect for a bottle of white wine.  Should be a required feature of all refrigerators.

i did and he looked at me like i was insane and told me it MATTERED because i was setting a furnace based on celsius.

i've never been to portland but watch portlandia, and i consider that basically good enough...

The questions I get that the techs should know are shocking. Some is just ignorance, some is stupidity, most mostly just a lack of common sense.

Did you ask him where he was at when he wanted to measure it, and in what language the numbers were going to be displayed on the thermostat?  Also, find out which room he wants it measured in.
