You added a couple of pages in just a short time. I had a great swim. With the time change not to many people go to the pool after dark. hence I have it to myself and yes I enjoy it very much. Very peaceful when you have it to yourself. Good night Sal and thanks for all the feedback you gave me on running the 1/2 marathon this coming weekend. I needed that feedback and another great reason for being here on BT Nighty night! Glad you had a good swim Have fun getting caught up on pics of tats, legs, and ankles - ok - ankle ;-) |

Its' a community pool, it's outdoors and it's cool outside in the evening. Hence most people don't want to hang around. I'd say pretty much for the last month it has been that way. I try to stay away from the base pool at lunch because I have to share a lane after waiting a while and I'm limited to 30 minutes of use. So no more base use and all my swims will be in the evening. |

Well I KNOW Im always going to have to share a lane but 5 to a lane in a 25m pool really does my head in. I've moved to a new pool where it seems to be much better... and it is outdoors which is GREAT for swimming! But someone decided winter would come back here Down Under for awhile so after 5 days of rain and electrical srtorms the desire to swim outside is kind of going. |

I've never completed one of these. I've done 5k's and it's obvious I'm skipping 10k's. Thanks to Sparko and Spokes for all the feedback today and the motivation. Ok spokes, I put my money where my mouth is, so I'm locked in now. Thanks guys. |

Extreme Veteran 461 Minnesota | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not be Named! Good morning everyone!!! I've been up for an hour and a half, but I had a paper that I HAD to get written and could not come here until it was done. So unfortunately, now I have to go get ready for work and there is like 7483979 pages for me to read. There is no way I will be able to read them, so if someone doesn't mind posting a clif notes version, I would love it! I see we are still getting leg shots... I'll have to go back and browse the lovely photos. If you all are lucky, I might be able to get a shot of my legs at some point within this challenge Gotta run! Sorry for the fly-by posting. I will try to do more personals later today. Have a great day! |

I find it very difficult to make myself swim right now because I work at the pool. I just get tired of being there. And it always seems like I get bombarded with questions and problems between my sets. Good luck at the half-mary, Hector! That's a fun distance. Way to get the paper done, Jeni. I don't think I could handle schoolwork, work and kids. Bravo! I think I'll hold off from the leg shots. We don't want to scare away all our nice visitors to this thread! Must get crackin' if I'm gonna make it to pilates and get all my errands done. Have a great morning! Pam |

I started working out with blaring headphones (my hearing's already shot) and a mag in front of me (when on stationary equip) Now my staff have FINALLY figured out that it's my time (I've ignored everyone at least once) Is it possible to get a water case for your MPS player? Or just ignore them. Short of a rescue, I'm sure the problem will still be there when you're done. But you might want to get out if it's one of those (affectionately known to our pool manager) PIP issues (poop-in-pool) nOthing like a little cryptosporidium to get you going Pool = Problems (that's evident) Hope everyone has a great day
