Today I logged 4 miles (at a PR pace for me ).  That puts me at 58% complete.  Wanted to get a little extra in the bank...

I ran a 10K race yesterday, so that brings me up to 27.26 miles, or 45.43% of my 60-mile goal. Go CREEPS!

It's a grey damp Sunday here in MN.  I need to get in a 3.5 mile run to keep on track.  Instead, I'm sitting here on the couch thinking about how wet I'm going to get in the 35 min it will take me to run that distance.  Damm, I wish I was faster.

Good job everyone!  I'm sitting a little shy of my target after a weekend bike ride yesterday and painting the garage (trim) today.  I'll try to get the spreadsheet updated at lunch tomorrow.

OK, Here's the updated spreadsheet with numbers pulled from your logs this AM.

Ty and Keith have brought their miles/minutes up to the monthly pace (THANKS!!

Sally leads the pack with 61% of her goal (way to go!!) Keith had a massive week, increasing from 18% to 58% of his monthly goal this week.  Pattie and Jennifer are close on their heels at 54%.  Max and Patti are cranking out 2.5 or 5 miles EVERY DAY and sit at 53%.

Kelly, Taylor, and Susan...you're scarin' me sitting at 42, 39, and 31% of the monthly goal here close to the half-way point.

Believe me, nobody on BT wants to see my feet, legs, or butt in November and the best way to avoid this is for EVERYONE to hit their goal.  If you haven't voted on the penalty, wander on over to the poll and vote.

Like I said last week - I'm base building.   Adding 10% a week this month.   So My percentage will always be a little under until the last week.   I'll make it!   Negative splits, right?

Go CC!!

I am base building as well and actually ahead of target for my plan.

Keep up those miles and minutes everyone, we'll get it done.

Nice job, everyone!  I did 4 this morning, bringing my week to 6 so far.  I'm going out of town this afternoon, but my running shoes are already packed.  Have a great rest of the week!

Great job, everyone!!

Unfortunately I've run (literally) into a bit of a pickle with my temperamental knee and I'm pretty certain I'm not going to make it to my 60-mile goal by the end of this month. I will get in SOME additional mileage b/c I have a 5K and 10K planned that I'm not willing to give up, but probably not another 30.24 miles.

I haven't decided yet what I want to do - I hate to drop out but I don't want to let you guys down, since you've all been walking and running your legs off! I'm considering switching my goal to the elliptical or pool running instead, but I haven't decided which I'd rather do.

Sorry guys...

Sorry to hear about your knee! Gotta take care of your body, though. I'm sure everyone would understand.

So sorry about your knee Laura.  Healing is way more important than forcing out the miles for a challenge. Hope you can get to the bottom of it!

Hiya,

From the challenge point of view you are more than welcome to mix up your miles with elliptical or pool running due to injury just let me know and go for it... no problem

Otherwise you can etiher drop your mileage (will make allowances for injuries ONLY!) OR stay on as tema cheerleader!!!

Give yourself a week and see how you go. I had to switch to elliptical due to my knee issues so take care of it! Your health is WAY more important...

Take Care

Cat

Thanks for the support everyone - I really appreciate it. I HATE not being able to run (or run as much as I'd like), but it helps to have fellow tri peeps around who understand!

At the least, I will definitely stick around as official Creepy Team Cheerleader (I don't do pom-poms, however). And I hope to get a few more miles of running in (9.3 more are a given since I'm determined to still do the 5K and 10K I have coming up, and I'm hoping for at least 6 more miles total). I'll see how things go this weekend and go from there.

Til then, keep up the awesome running and walking you're all doing!!

Rg, I won't take you out (yet), but if you need to revise based on the injury, let me know and we'll change the spreadsheet accordingly.   Revise sooner, so we don't get accused of cheating with end-of-the-month changes to goals.

Everyone,

We're hanging out near the back of the pack as far as percentages go.  I'm not too worried as almost everyone is on track for 100%, and the ones who are behind the straight-line estimate are confident they'll catch up.  Now's the time to hit the inspires for each other, and generate a little smack-talk against our competition.

Great job Creepies- we are flying under the radar but I'm positive we'll all make goal

I think I need to up my goal. I'm at 51 of 60 miles complate. Next week I'll be tapering for a race on the 28th but I still am sure I'll come in over 70 miles for the month.

10 miles for the week. I am now over 50% of my goal and plan on another 10 miles next week. That should set me up to hit my 30 mile goal easily in the last short week of the month. Keep on creepin' everybody!

Correction: That is 10.3 miles this week, not 10. My bad!
