A year ago I didn't own a bike, had never run, and hadn't done any real swimming since 2nd or 3rd grade.

Now I've done a sprint, 2 5ks, a 10k, have another 10k and a half-mary just around the corner.

Last year: Had just run a half marathon as part of preparation for my first full marathon in the coming October.

This year: Finished my second marathon earlier this month and ran 25 minutes quicker than last year. Am also 8lbs lighter.

1 year ago I did not own a bike, I was training for my 2nd marathon which ended being my 3rd


Last year

5 half marathons
4 marathons
1 ultra marathon

1 triathlon

only started swim training about 1 week ago.
bike training about 3 months ago and serious training either.

I had just completed my 1st Tri after 8 months coming off from surgery and chemo treatment. A year later I knocked out my 9th Tri with an Oly & 1 HIM for good measure.
