Next thing you know, bestiality and polygamy will run rampant among the bovines...oh, wait, never mind.

Bevo is a steer, so he won't be participating in any of this.

I hear poor Bevo is ill and won't be attending the UO game this weekend.

He's prolly not sick, but standing in solidarity with his brothers to protest feed lot conditions...

He's organizing a hunger strike to combat global warming by reducing cow farts on those earth destroying feedlots.

If they organize worldwide and fart simultaneously, they could make the earth's atmosphere implode. At least that's a theory reported by Bill Nye.

I thought of you dmiller when I read this:

Lettuce is ‘three times worse than bacon' for emissions and vegetarian diets could be bad for environment

In all seriousness i think the comparison is a bit unfair because they're comparing a virtually zero calorie vegetables.  It would take a lot of lettuce or celery to equal the calories in a single slice of bacon.

Instead of stopping eating beef why can't restaurants start server 1/4 burgers rather than 1/2 burgers? Seems like every nice sit down place its always 1/2 burgers. Solve global warming and American obesity problem at the same time.

The key word in your response is America.  We should soon be moving to 3/4 lb. burgers.
