Subject: RE: Big Biker Bunnies Team ThreadSome one had asked about goals since there was a big difference.. any riding is good.. I was originally doing 2 HIM this spring and IMKY in august.. but a leg injury that slowed me done in my december marathon I used as an excuse for january a bit too much. then I need some small surgery in febuary so even though my big race isnt' until August 31 I'm freaking out already. I changed the HIMs to an oly length and something called a 1/4 it's exactly half of a HIM. It's just the opposite of what I was looking for since I would have rather done a long swim and shorter bike and runs and this is a 800m swim 28 mile bike and a 6.5 run. I think it's a unique distance though.. it's paid for the room is booked so I figure if I just go all out on the swim and bike then walk/run the run kind of like my own modified aquabike |
