O2BFast - 2008-03-04 8:10 PM OK, I must admit I am a new user of google spreadsheets. I thought I had it figured out. Am I supposed to update my stuff in that spreadsheet ? I just wasn't able to edit a cell no matter how hard I tried. Not sure if I missed something. Sorry to be such a novice with that spreadsheet. Too cold here to bike outdoors. 1 hour on the trainer tonight after swimming. I will not be a "marshmallow" this month.

Way to get the hour in!!

I had that same "problem" the first time I logged in.  If I remember correctly, there was something in the upper right corner that allowed you to make changes - just had to do it the first time.  I posted yours tonight.

It's not looking like I'm going to get any biking in today.  It's another one of those work issues.  I'm typing this out as I'm choking down my lunch.  Oh well, there's always this weekend (hopefully!).

Since "someone" brought up the week getting wiped out

What does everyone have on tap for training/riding the rest of the week and the weekend?

I have a 45 minute trainer ride slated for tomorrow,
Long run Friday,
Hopefully a nice 2.5 hour ride outside on Saturday (supposed to be low 50's - much colder than last Saturday, but better than some)
Then wrap up the week with an easy 4 mile run and another 45 minutes on the bike - probably trainer, but if I can get outside I will!!!.

How cool to see the world's pros and humbling I'm sure as well. Next month I'm taking a bike racing clinic..classroom and then 4 Saturday's with 3 hours of riding skills and drills. I did a couple crits last June and crashed badly in one so I want to learn how to ride better in a pack.

You are lucky to have great weather to train in. I went to college in LA...Occidental College (Obama was in my graduating class).

Happy riding..very little rain you can ride almost every day you want too! Lucky you

I am hoping for a lunch time ride today (Thurs.) and probably a trainer ride on Sunday. I would go outside Sunday but they are calling for strong winds. I should be able to get a 5-7 mile run in Friday morning. Saturday will be weights and maybe a run.

Hi team! Wow, it looks like we all have pretty full schedules. Nice job on the 10 miler Kathy! Isn't it funny how after putting in those longer runs you find yourself saying, "oh, just heading out for an easy 5 mile run today." I used to think anything over 1 miles was out of my range. Love it.

I had crummy workouts yesterday and given how I felt all day yesterday and this morning, I'm pretty sure I have a touch of the flu. I'm leaving work early for physical therapy and then have a bike ride planned. That may or may not happen, but I'll try. I'll just carry extra t.p. in my jersey pocket. Haha! I'm feeling bad that I haven't had a single minute on my bike this month -- I don't want to get our team behind!

Tomorrow I'm doing my long run in the pool. I don't have a waterproof MP3, so I typically sing to myself at the amusement of everyone else. Anyone have some good ideas for tunes? Saturday I have a little mock-triathlon at my gym. 500m pool swim, 7mile bike, 2mile run. I'm curious to see what my 500m swim time is at race pace!

I hope you all have a fab Thursday!

I did 8  .5 mile hill repeats..those were challenging in a good way.

I rode around the Patriot Players neighborhood before and around the neighborhood afterwards.

This was hard but building strength..tomorrow is easier ride 40 miles at IM pace but going to ride the hills.

I'm up to 50 miles this month as of today..hope to get to 140 by Sunday. Next week my husband and I are going on a 5 day cruise that he was awarded for doing great job at work.

Ride lots Angels; Have fun doing so!!!

Today was the fastest swim I have ever had for a 1000m swim. I guess that Master's class is paying off.

Also, I got in 1 hour on the trainer - 17.2 miles. Did some single leg drills which dropped the overall pace.

I don't know if I am supposed to be able to save this directly into the Google spreadsheet, but I tried, tried, and then tried some more to no avail. Sorry that I haven't been able to enter it. It tells me that it's not shared with me for some reason.

Either way - 17.2 miles toward my goal for the month. Lookout spring, here I come.....

Hey all, weekend's almost here.  Does it look good for getting outside and putting some time in the saddle?

Our forecast dwindled, looks like my temps might get to the mid 40's for Saturday's ride.  Got to go find the tights and other warm weather gear again Undecided

We are getting 10+ inches of snow here in Ohio. Unless I get a plow and snow tires for my bike, I think I'll be on the trainer.

I am envious of all the people in the warmer climates.

I did my brick today...40 miles with last 30 at IM race power..seems pretty slow. I rode all the hard hills that I know..nothing like grinding up a hill in your easiest gear going 5 mph to humble you and have conversation with runner going the same speed.

I rode my Kuota tri bike for first long ride since I had surgery. My body needs adjusting to aero position again. But I love riding aero zipping around corners, flying down hills, it rocks!

5h 33m 47s  - 90.21 Mi for the month so far out of 400 miles

Hey Angels

Hope everyone is doing well .  I took advantage of a  light schedule this week to
ride  long today as i knew i would not  be able to saturday or sunday . I followed  the course from the amgen  stage 7 and found a groove despite the headwind and the mostly uphill course . I turned around after 27.5  or  where the Acton sprint bonus was.  Thats about  1600 feet of  net climbing  over the distance .   After a well earned  refueling stop  at  7-11  .  I literally  flew back home.  With all that very fast downhill   worked on my aero position .

 Good weekend everone

Hi Mike,

Do you have a gmail address? If so, you'll need to log OUT of that one, and log INTO the BT one.

1) Log out of your current gmail account.

2) Log back in using this information:
email address: [email protected]
password: challengeforum

3) Once you're in the spreadsheet, click the SHARE tab.
Invite your "regular" gmail account in as a collaborator.

After that, you should be able to use the spreadsheet with either email account.

I did another 30 min ride today for a total of 4 rides and 2 hours this week so far. I know my goal is small 8 hours but I am working back into biking after almost a complete year off so I am starting small. I am traveling the last month of March to Alaska to work but I will have a bike available (probably trainer) but I am right on target to make goal with plenty of room if we get to up our goal like we could last month.

Keep it up everyone. We are doing great.
