Race - 1500K swim, 40K bike, 10K run; Goal - 3:30:00 or less (hopefully less)

better than hopefully more!

And, that's a great time.  You're totally going to do it!

Um, I'm sure everyone knows my swim is 1500m not k, otherwise my goal would be 3.5 days instead of hours! I need to edit better.

I'll be out of town from 7/11-7/14. We're going to Dallas for the Disco Triathlon.  I logged my mileage and stages on the spreadsheet. I went ahead and included Stage 4- 7/13 for 23 miles. So far I've logged 4 stages and 133 miles 5 stages and 137 miles to go.

I don't really have any specific time goals for the race this weekend. It is my first Oly race.

Have a wonderful weekend! Good luck to everyone who is racing this weekend!

You've all been working hard. Why not take the day off and have a delicious burrito?

burrito

Wow that burrito looked good...so I went and had half of one after my last long ride!  I've got another long ride today as well as a swim planned so I may need something else tasty.

So we just need in input our overall mileage (and stages???) by Sunday night, is that right?

Happy Friday everyone! I finished stage 4 as part of a brick, I'm almost half way to my goal. Now I'm sitting in my tri suit at a bar having a beer. I think I heard once that beer is good for recovery Enjoy your weekends.

Hi Guys!  I got another Spinning class done so that gets my minutes up higher.  I also did a swim and got a sports massage.  My massage therapist really dug in deep today.  My muscles feel like they did a hard workout!  Cheers!

wow, I don't think i could ever bring myself to go to a bar in a tri-suit. I guess it might be different for a good looking woman than a man. Probably comes off a bit different lol. And yes, i've done countless research on the benefits of post-workout fermented beverages and it does seem to work wonders for around 12 hours.

Another note, I finished stage 3 today and going to buck up and do a brick tomorrow (30-35/9-11)

Keep chugging guys! (and girls)

Hi Team - just a quick reminder that Monday July 14th is the LAST day of week one of the challenge.

It would be great if at this time you could make sure your google spreadsheet is up to date with your achieved and GOAL stages and distance/time for the week. (there are currently a few blank spaces on some of the teams)

I will get an interim result up in the forum on Wednesday assuming that whatever is in your team spreadsheet is the results for your team.

I have updated the spreadsheets so they are all calculating goals consistently across the board and as always if you have any questions let me know.

Your team spreadsheet is here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-C2ZTs1k-L6Hg&hl=en

To login to Google Docs:

Hope everyone has had a great first week! Dont forget to keep supporting and inspiring your team mates - make sure you all keep in touch! 2 weeks left! (and feel free to stir up the other teams a bit too)

With Cats prompting, I realized we can update the spread sheet as we do each workout. If nothing else it is fun to watch the totals go up. I am just under 1/2 way to Paris with 5 stages in the books. The team shows only 17% done, but that is due to a whole lot of spaces that will get filed in by Monday. Keep up the good work! Team Agrituble wants to hit 100% of goal!!

Stage 5 done for me today with a 45 miler.  My first road bike race ever, it was a blast!

145 miles down and 155 to go!   I am at about 48% done for my goal.

Stage 4 done...over done actually.

I'm up to 55.2 miles of my 75 mile goal. At 73.6% I am wondering if I need to increase the goal mileage. With the move I will not have much time to ride over the next 2.5 weeks but my last 3 stages should add up to well over 20 miles....more like 40 miles....
Hmmmm...
