Yum!

OK, so when I was at school at Iowa, the best night in the dorm cafe was Tater Tot casserole night...pretty much throw a bag of cooked tater tots in your recipe and you're golden.

Besides, tater tots count as veggies, no?

HI NIbbs...

Just got home not long ago....

My 5 yo is an expensive date....

HIking $0
Stop at Lodge Almost $1200
Lunch $30
SkiRental $87
Cookie at Subaru Dealership $36 (okay so I really paid for the oil change, but at $36 glad he was with me, then we got two cookies)
Trip to HomeDepot $30 something for spray paint (may actually finish backyard this week)
Movie Rental $4.25 (okay so I didn't really pay for that b/c I had a gift card, but I could've gotten a chic flic instead of Over the Hedge )

So my 5 yo helped me spend about $1300 today....

Oh, and I had to put gas in the car
$3.75/gal !!!!!!!!!!

I got gas for $3.39 the other day - had to pay cash, but that was ok

People are waiting in lines here. It's about $3.98 per gallon here if you can find it. They say things should be back to normal by next week. Hope my quarter of a tank lasts through the weekend

Mmm. Chimay...

From Wikipedia..."Chimay Rouge (Red), 7% abv. In the 75 cl bottle, it is known as Première. It is a dark brown colour and has a sweet, fruity aroma. The malt in this beer has a nutty character that goes well with the hints of pepper from the house yeast. "

The fruity aroma is totally where the skittlebrau idea comes from. Smells like a berry, tastes like a beer. Yum!

Holey cow....sorry to hear that. Hope it works out for you.

I'm still getting e-mails from Emory (after working there last fall) - periodically they give info where gas is actually available. Scary stuff.

OK, so tater tots I get - they're still veggie...even if they're deepfried, oh-so-yummy, veggies...

but Whipped Cream?

That's just WRONG!

I would put whipped cream on my tater tots and wash it down with skittle brau.

Yeah. No more beer for me tonight.
