Count me in for a Friday Morning swim !

I might be.  I've heard about a swim spot at TOBAY beach on the bay side (talked about earlier in this thread).  There is a group that swims there Monday nights.  I can't get there during the week, but was thinking about going there tomorrow a.m. to see what it looks like on a weekend morning.  i am not getting my hopes too high, but I heard from someone who swims with the group that boats do not come into the swim spot (as far as she has seen), and i found something online that tends to corroborate (e.g., beach/swimming only, no boats launch or slips). 

If I were to go, i am going to try for 7/7:30ish.  If it doesn't work out i will still get to my pool around the time it opens. 

I'm in the same boat with a brand new wetsuit hanging dry in the closet.

I have off next Friday let me know if (hopefully weather permitting) their will be an  OWS

Anyone want to swim sunken meadow tomorrow morning 6 am ?

Not possible for me to get out that early.  I have to drop my daughter off at 9am in wantagh all week.   I will be swimming tuesday night anyway.  I may end up heading up to Suny OW to run some tomorrow  after I drop her off but I am a slow runner so anyone who wants to join me can but will quickly be ahead of me

How about tomorrow evening between five and six. Does that work for anyone?

I only swim the one night a week with aquafit so don't like to miss it. I may be able to do an OWS on Thursday evening if babysitting works out if anyone wants to do that...

Thursday evening would be good for me too

I can be there by 5:30.

I should add that I will be able to swim only if I can get tegaderm on my knee- not sure if it stopped oozing yet. I have to bag my run this am because it is feeling pretty banged up- hurts just to go up and down stairs.

The water will make it feel much better.

Oh I am always in wetsuit for OWS! LOL

Swim was good, water was a little choppy, but temp was fine.

yes well have to do it again sometime soon again. I am really attempting to get the bike on the road this week -hopefully!

I am heading to the beach at Tobay tomorrow so I will try to check it out- where people swim on the bayside.  Otherwise the drive up to Sunken Meadow wasn't bad.  
 

OWS Thurs eve at Tobay beach... 5:30 or 6 better for everyone?  All welcome.
