I like that name the best so far.  But feel free to keep the options coming.  My creativity is about nil right now so I'll rely on the rest of you

I know, I know. I have to work on that. It's all good, he told the doc he tripped, so I'm safe. Next time I won't put my back into it so much, LOL. Seriously, he was out on his ATV and decided to hot dog it off a jump, but didn't hit the jump right and when he landed he was thrown off...onto his shoulder...the ATV kept going, but eventually flipped the other direction. It could have been sooo much worse, so I'm just counting our blessings. The dummy was out there by himself. Well, technically there were other people around, just not with him, but nobody stopped to help him until after he got the ATV upright and re-started.

Yikes!  Glad it was "just" a broken collarbone.  You're right though, it could have definitely been much worse, especially out by himself.

so one day of nutrition logging is done...24 more to go!  The result wasn't so hot, but at least I know what the damage that I did was!  and how hard I will have to work to combat it!  Plus I did not eat a single piece of candy yesterday!

OK... Time to get Motivated! Katie, I also am going to start tracking nutrition. Dunkin Donuts was not the best start, but from here on out, I'm going to avoid any form of fast food and junk in general. Heading to the gym at lunch today to either swimfor 45 min, or do a 45 min spin class. I have my tri schedule almost complete for the summer... signed up for the Philly Tri (Olympic) this morning... I LOVE THAT RACE. For any of you that are close enough to Philly, I highly recommend it. They have both a sprint race on Saturday and Olympic on Sunday. Also signed up this morning for my "season kick-off" race. Tri for our Veterans in Sea Isle, NJ. Can't beat a 55 degree ocean swim to start off your triathlon season!!!

I left all of the candy I brought to a Halloween party on purpose!  I have 2 small packs of Skittles and that is it!  I don't need any more candy or food after this weekend.

I do need to ride my bike and trying to start run.  I have a bike ride scheduled for today.

Question about nutrition logging...
how do you figure out the contents for meals that you cook?
ie last night we had cabbage rolls, I have no idea how to figure out the calories for that... do you just guess?

There are some internet sites where you can put your recipe into and it will give you the calorie content for a serving.  I use Sparkpeople.com  OR I just put all the components of a meal in use that as an estimate...i.e. for the cabbage rolls I would put in the cabbage, whatever is in the filling, the sauce etc.

Well, you're amongst others that have inspired me to give this a go...

Heck, I was just happy to find an alternative to noodles (I LOVE pasta, could eat it EVERYDAY - and potatoes too)

I made it to the gym at lunch. Was hoping to do 45 min swim, but it wasn't to be. Made it 1250 yds in 30 min and my foot kept cramping up plus I had cramps in my side (is that called side stitches?). Alas, I will be doing another swim workout between now and friday so i can meet my 45 min goal.

Can I get that cabbage roll recipe? I haven't had them for a long time, but used to love them. And if I can get my 6 year old daughter to eat them, I will send you a check for 34 trillion dollars. She doesn't eat anything unless its name ends in "dog" or "nugget". Hmmmm. Cabbage dogs? Cabbage nuggets?
