Anne, you had one up your sleeve, didn't you? I was thinking an Ironman challenge Swim 2.4 miles Bike 112 miles Run 26.2 miles during the month. I would like to say I can do this 3 times, once a week leaving the last week a bit easier right before my HM. |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Ghoulie March (STILL BIKING) Madness!!! That is, I can do double the running if I have figured out how to avoid that leg pain. I am not even sure I can do my 1/2 coming up. I am not going to push it this early. I will see what happens in the next couple of weeks. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulie March (STILL BIKING) Madness!!! Ghoulies I know I have mentioned my one dog before. I'm going to tell you a little bit about her. I had ordered a PI jacket off of bonktown. It came to the house yesterday while everyone was gone. I got home and she had shredded the packaging and drug my new jacket threw the mud and it was laying in the yard. I think it is still wearable, I'll have to check it out more later. She also used my daughters bike helmet as a chew toy yesterday. Here is a list of just a few of the things I know she has eaten/chewed on Daughter's bike helmet Son's bike helmet Cycling jersey I had shipped to the house a few weeks ago Staples for a staple gun Her bed New running shoes $100+ worth of Lego's I got shipped to the house for Christmas The lattice off of the front porch Dead kittens - yes kittens Guinea keets - FYI guineas are like chickens but dumber. They eat bugs so I like having them on the farm. Full grown guineas A rotisserie chicken I had sitting on the kitchen counter - I turned around to get a serving plate to put it on and she grabbed it off of the counter. We had pizza that night. She has been caught twice ON the dining room table eating food. I'm sure there's more but this is just what I could think of off of the top of my head. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulie March (STILL BIKING) Madness!!! A little story about my dog. She is very friendly. People walk where I live. She has followed several people miles from home. We've gotten all kinds of calls from people who have our dog at their house, they all lived miles away. One day my kids came home from school and they were telling me they heard a dog had ridden one of the school buses that morning. All the kids in school were talking about it. Yeah, it was my dog. My FIL and BIL went down the road in the truck. They stopped down at the end of the road to talk to someone. My dog must have decided to go down and see what was going on. They pulled away and she followed them down a little further to my husbands uncle's house. One of their grand children gets on the bus there. She was outside waiting for the bus and my dog stayed to keep her company. When she got on the bus the bus driver was worried my dog might get hit by a car so opened the doors and my dog got on the bus. She took her about half a mile down the road to my niece's, where her son was getting on the bus. My niece took our dog home then. |

What about eggs,? Our former dog would run around with shells on his nose and feathers stuck to him and had the expression that said, "Nothing".. |

What about eggs,? Our former dog would run around with shells on his nose and feathers stuck to him and had the expression that said, "Nothing".. She found a guinea nest last year. I caught her in the garage with 2 eggs in her mouth. The mother never went back to the next after that. I should have grabbed the eggs and put them in the incubator. I have friends who have German Shepherds. They constantly have them in some sort of training class. The boys even do Search & Rescue. Those two dogs are SOOOO well behaved. My dog has that kind of potential, I just don't have the patience to do the training. I think she'd do well with agility training. Edited by ironannekidd 2010-03-24 10:26 AM |
