I will tip a tottie for all you poor schleps training and busting your asses here in worker-bee land....

Your revenge will be the massive amount of calories I will be consuming and the pain I will endure doing my Oly in 16 days....

Has there ever been a thread on BT that had 1000 views and 100 posts?  I cannot think of a better and more worthy topic than our beloved Peanut Butter to reach such historic milestones.

Long Live Peanut Butter!

P.S. Tom, where you're headed, it's known as mantequilla de cacahue

I showed this thread to a friend, He is person that I mountain bike with when I am feeling too good about myself and need a kick in the pants. He is 57 years old and has the body most men dream they had (including me!).
here is his repsonce:
"ACTUALLY...
No, the peanut butter ain't gonna make you gain weight. Peanut butter has been shown effective in controlling weight, blood sugar & flatulance. IT'S GOT IT ALL! I eat the stuff by the tablespoon, & look at me. PEANUT BUTTER RULES!"

I think the "Hoody Hoo!" should be a trademarked Triathlon term, yes? so by all means...

HOODY-HOOO to your heart's content.

That's usually what I say after a particularly fulfilling peanut butter sandwich....spread completely to the sides, nice thick layer with an ice cold, tall glass of milk...it's my midnight snack of choice....oh my....

alas, i don't seem to be as wordy and verbose and quite as quick with the prose as our friend Tim...but I am only a pb newbie and new to my love affair with all things PB...

Peanut butter is timeless.  There are no vets, no rookies, only the hot, all encompassing flush of rapture... (the fact that you spread it all the way to the sides is, if anything is, a vet move and I applaud you).  You can spread my bread anytime....

I started with peanut butter a few years ago and became hooked.
I tried Almond butter a couple years ago and I'm telling you, it's heaven!

Almond butter is one of the best things ever invented.

And on top of that, it's healthy!
Peanuts are not really nuts and although they do have some good monounsaturated fats, they contain a poison in them.

I go through about a jar of almond butter every 3 days.
It's high calorie but I NEED that! Also nuts are so good for you and don't actually cause you to get fat anyway.
Eat up!

Someone mentioned cashew butter. It DOES exist! Trader Joe's sells it here in the U.S. I thought it would be amazing, since I love cashews. However, it was very dissapointing and not something I would eat on a regular basis.

Almond Butter forever!!

I have thought about trying some of the variations, but to borrow a line from the song "ain't nothing like the real thing, baby...."  Actually, I was thinking about the cashew butter, but you put a damper on that one.  If I have to settle for all of my daily calories from one sandwich, so be it!
