Do the Ghoulies have any ideas for a November challenge? I know, I am more than likely getting way ahead of everyone...

Well it is not official but we are researching adding a few to our normal monthly ranks and we do a monthly challenge on our own outside of the main BT one.

This one was public because it was our anniversary of gathering last year in October when we first formed.

Send me bribes and maybe you will be selected LOL

That being said BT will have a November challenge

I run a Crappy Winter Weather Challenge that goes from Nov-Apr but you have to like training outside in the winter time
Or you can move far to Florida, where there is not such thing as Crappy Winter Weather. Of course, Bill has it rigged so people who live in the Frozen Tundra have a points advantage.....

Dee that is not fair - I just run it now and am running the same rules as the originals had it when I joined the first year!

It is CRAPPY winter weather challenge - not fairly Crappy or Partially Crappy

Hope all is well Dee!

Torrential rain lasting up to 72 hours with frequent lightning is Pretty Damned Crappy, don'tcha think?

Just curious, Yanti, do you EVER sleep?!!!!

Nope. Not usually.

My normal sleep pattern is 2-4 hours a night, with a night or two in a week going up to 15-16 hours. This has been the case ever since I was a teeny girl ... 3, 4 years old.

Since I've been sick, though, it's been *really* out of whack.

this is inteteresting as we have been researching which of the Ghoulies we will allow to leave the clan and become human, perhaps even a Ghoulie Crusher themselves...

Well, we have to give you something to aspire to

Um, yeah, that's what I was doing, too. I didn't even realize there was some kind of Ghoulie offer on the table.

I'm impressed! I need my 8 hours, pretty much everynight...
I can function for a 2 week stint on 4-6 a night but its hard work and makes me pretty grumpy!

I did a 5 week stint of 4 hours a night once due to work commitments at the time (the overtime paid was fantastic), finished it and then just crashed.

Used to get by on 6 hours a night, however since having kids this is blowing out more like 8 hours due to the interuppted sleep

I used to work nights.....it doesn't agree with me.  I would take sleeping pills when I got into bed at 8AM and still be up my noon.  Not get back to sleep either......Like going through life in a perpetual fog.

Afternoon shifts used to be the best, when at uni on the holidays had a job working 3 - 11pm, would finish it, go home and to bed, be up around 6 and felt like I had most of the day to do what I wanted before heading back into work.

Night shift is harder to adjust to, used to find it took around 3 weeks to really get used to, however we were usually swapping shifts every 2 weeks so you would be just getting used to it and then have to come back into the land of the living again.

I'm a big fan of working normal days, but an even bigger fan of startin early and finishing early - although that does mean I have to get up at 5 to get a pre work workout in and consequently have turned into an old woman as far as bedtime goes!

Do NOT envy the night shifts!

I liked the 3-11 shift, could run errands, work out....take care of LIFE during the day, work and hang out tuntil about 1 or 2 AM then collapse in bed til 8 or 9 AM, do it all over.

Having a friend that works ER and the stories she tells, don't think I would be missing them.

Also in an office now, have been for the last 10 years, looking forward to getting my new work laptop in a few weeks time (currently on a desktop) which will then give me the freedom to work from home.  Going to be even better then having no commute at all and being able to set my own time, all while not having to shave or even get changed out of the trackie dacks

Aww, you have to admit the stupidity has no limits!  I could tell some C-R-A-Z-Y stories....unfortunately they could get me in trouble with the mods for some of the content.
I should be getting work at home in the next 6 weeks or so.  I cannot wait to no longer have to commute 40 miles one way for work.

Nothing of significance is good in air traffic control. Its when something of significance happens that it makes the world news.

Yes it does. Unfortunately, due to that my Internet connex is run by squirrels, the post time may be wrong, or my computer time may be wrong, and sometimes both are wrong. It's ridonkulous!
