No, but I shall mosey over to onread and see if it's there. Any parallels with Room? I just finished Walk Two Moons, a young adults Newbery book, which is told from the perspective of a young girl. All of this, and Room, are very helpful to me as I'm editing my novel, at least half of which is from the perspective of a young girl and the rest as a young lady. I would love to read a novel by Yanti. ***highest compliment ever*** especially coming from a librarian ... {{MELON PRESS}}

I might have to go back and re-read some spots. |

Well, I did kind of know where I was in the book but then it still suprised me when it ended.  I kept pressing next page but nope, wouldn't give me one. |

LOVED The Help! Did you know they are making a movie? That is one book I can see made into a decent movie. It was 2 books ago for me so still fresh. The one after that before Room sucked but since I bought it on Kindle I felt obligated to finish it. I kept thinking it was going to get better and then it was over. I was ready for it to be over for a long time. Can't remember the title right now but it was a Fanny Flagg book. |

I finished it today and it kind of just ended. Like some others have said about Room, I wasn't expecting the last paragraph I read to be the end of the book. I was disappointed, but what a beautiful book. Oh, and no, I did not know it was going to be a movie. Edited by Malgal 2011-05-15 8:20 PM

Eager to discuss. Have we decided on another book? Or when we will pick that other book? It might be nice to have a couple listed for folks who would like to get more than one at a time.

How about I will start a poll thread and people can add book suggestions? Then the books with the highest votes will be put in the que? In general I am not a fast reader but sometimes I have a bunch of time and I really hate not having a book to read. I also know some folks travel and it would be nice if those of us with electronic readers could buy more than one at a time and always have one waiting.
