Subject: RE: ESI Ironman 70.3 Augusta : Official ThreadKaren, if you are staying downtown there are plenty of options within walking distance. Some choices are: Pizza Joint - nice outdoor eating area Mellow Mushroom Boll Weevil - fantastic desserts and right next to the Marriot Beamies - Seafood Nacho Mamas - excellent Tex Mex Blue Sky Kitchen - Really good Cuban sandwiches Bees Knees - Tapas Rooster's Beak - very unique tacos, and a fantastic chef that creates new menu items every night. Soy Noodle House - Korean/Vietnamese dishes Frog Hollow - Upscale dining on Broad Street Luigis - A bit further down Broad but has good Greek/Italian 1102 - casual dining Cotton Patch - Casual Dining Augustinos - Italian food in the Marriot Casa Blanca and New Moon both do breakfast and lunch. New Moon has the best coffee in town. If you go out on Washington Road you can find just about any chain but why do that when you can get that at home?! |
